Former Panthers DC. Previous experience as a D-line coach.

Looks like a quality hire.

Great hire! Wasted no time.
Any chance McDermott allowed Teerlinck  to ‘quit’?

Sean even handles a possible firing with class. Sean told Teerlinck which way the team was going. Teerlinck was able to secure a spot on another staff.  Washington is announced shortly after Teerlinck announces he is headed to VT.

Also ... that was quick. Something tells me this was in the works Since Rivera got fired and that’s why Teerlinck is gone

You're slipping Yolo.

Yeah, taking a "lateral move" makes more sense now.

Excellent hire. Say what you will about cronyism regarding Carolina, Washington was Sean’s DLine Coach for his last 6 season there, making him an authority of Sean’s schemes, while getting exceptional performance out his players.

Definite upgrade.

For you scheme people, how does this new hire fit what we already have in terms of technique and personnel?

Same technique and scheme but they need to upgrade at edge rusher - so no change

Was McD DL coach in Carolina, so knows how to teach the scheme.
