Mister Defense Posted January 5, 2020 Posted January 5, 2020 Great to see Williams make some quality plays today, keeping drives alive. BUT his drops may have been more significant. A starting NFL receiver catches those balls and puts the Bills in a stronger position to win. 5
Mrbojanglezs Posted January 5, 2020 Posted January 5, 2020 He did good compared to Foster who has done nothing all year. 10
Best Williams Available Posted January 5, 2020 Posted January 5, 2020 I don’t think he’ll be on the team next year, but for only starting 3 games I think he produced better than expected. One drop was the DB knocking his hand after the ball was caught. 3 1
HomeskillitMoorman Posted January 5, 2020 Posted January 5, 2020 The drops were definitely tough to watch, but it was great to see him make some plays. I'm not sure if it would have ultimately made a difference, but I wonder if getting him more involved during the regular season could have helped in preparation for this game. 1 1

The endzone pass was a difficult one and I think he should have caught it. But who on our team catches that ball as it was thrown? 2
Rocbillsfan1 Posted January 5, 2020 Posted January 5, 2020 Such a stupid thread he was the best 3 wr on the roster and he deserved to play. Hopefully the bills upgrade in the offseason though. 2 2
SCBills Posted January 5, 2020 Posted January 5, 2020 I didn’t see any drops?... The TD catch would’ve made me think that guy is a #1 WR type. That would’ve been highlight reel stuff. Other than that, he made a bunch of really nice catches in tight space. 9 1 2
Brand J Posted January 5, 2020 Posted January 5, 2020 Does anyone have a replay of the pass in the end zone? I didn’t think it was a drop, I thought it was a bad adjustment to the ball. Someone else said his left arm was being grabbed. I think it was just misplayed.
DasNootz Posted January 5, 2020 Posted January 5, 2020 He deserves a spot on an NFL roster next year... I don’t know if that will be our team or not, but he’s proved more than capable at this level. 1
familykwi Posted January 5, 2020 Posted January 5, 2020 I’d like to see him make those plays, especially the end zone shot, but I think he’s a player Josh is willing to throw to with decent timing I might add. I think he can contribute as a 4, or 5 receiver. I don’t know that you count on him to be a starter.
Nuncha Posted January 5, 2020 Posted January 5, 2020 He made a few clutch 3rd down conversions - he did way more than Foster ever would have. 7
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted January 5, 2020 Posted January 5, 2020 Yes, it did. Can't drop TD passes that hit you in the hands. 2 2
ILBillsfan Posted January 5, 2020 Posted January 5, 2020 he played great not sure where you say the bad the endzone catch would of been a highlight reel catch the sideline catch would of been pretty impressive as well considering what irks me is seeing his game today and knowing for the last six weeks he has been on the practice squad and somehow Fosters play on ST outweighed Williams on the offense...points to imo more incompetence with this staff 1 1
LOVEMESOMEBILLS Posted January 5, 2020 Posted January 5, 2020 How does he see more targets than Brown and twice as many as Beasley today? All did about the same in yardage.
Giuseppe Tognarelli Posted January 5, 2020 Posted January 5, 2020 I'm stunned at how people are reacting to his performance. He was a key player today and made big plays. As others have said, that TD would've been SPECTACULAR and elevated his performance to legendary. Your expectations are ridiculous. 9
MJS Posted January 5, 2020 Posted January 5, 2020 Should have caught the TD. The others were pretty tough. What annoys me about him is he acts like he won the super bowl after every single catch. Just get back to the huddle, man. Act like you've been there before.
SCBills Posted January 5, 2020 Posted January 5, 2020 (edited) I’d keep him next year. He’s earned it. Brown Beasley Draft Pick or FA Duke Roberts McKenzie vs Foster for the last spot Edited January 5, 2020 by SCBills 1

wvbillsfan Posted January 5, 2020 Posted January 5, 2020 I thought he was fine. Everyone has wanted the guy who can make a back should catch or a “mossed “ type of go up and get it play. Duke almost made those plays. He did make one but a penalty got him. Alas wasn’t meant to be. Almost doesn’t count. Still looking for the guy who can be that threat.
