We are good fans, good fans can get angry when it's bad (we can't help it) but should also love when it's good. Hauschka took a lot of heat after going 8 of 13 through week 10. Since, he is 14 of 15, now 16 of 17 with the first half in Houston. Give the man his props. Her seemed to be in the darkest places of the kicking world and has gotten it together.

Player of the game but we relied on him too much today.

Exactly.  Playing for field goals is usually losing football.

Good for him. Everyone quit on him at one point.

Yes. Good for him, he showed up in a big way.

Still, I did not want him to be our leading scorer today.

He did. McDermott has clearly decided as well that unless it is end of game or end of half they are bot trying kicks beyond 50.

That's the problem, he can't be counted on at all for 50+ yard kicks.

I don't know why he was shaky all of a sudden. Maybe he was injuredm maybe he was going through personal stuff, who knows? He's played well in the end of the season and should be a part of the team next season.

I think all kickers go through that sometimes though. He actually did well to get out of the funk during the season.

The issue is that even at his best in his time here, he's really struggled with FG's from 50+ yards out.
