Mark Vader Posted January 5, 2020 Posted January 5, 2020 I was wondering that too. There were numerous times in the second half when was not in the game.
tcampbell104 Posted January 5, 2020 Author Posted January 5, 2020 i was hoping he would kind of have an edelman type game 1
ILBillsfan Posted January 5, 2020 Posted January 5, 2020 too many times McKenzie was on the field at crucial times vs Beasley and how this happens I have no clue Texans CB's had the worst passer rating against going into that game but I seen a lot of times the defensive guy was right on the WR so they were not getting separation in the second half like the first.

Agreed. My only guess is they seemed to want the Brown, Beasley, and Williams out there as the WRs for every third down. But it should've been those 3 all game. No reason for McKenzie to get the amount of snaps he played today, imo 1

Rc2catch Posted January 5, 2020 Posted January 5, 2020 That 3rd down play that they reviewed to give a first, he looked down to me at 32 seconds. After replay there was 21 left. I thought the clock would be stopped the second he’s down and it went to review. Was weird
EmotionallyUnstable Posted January 5, 2020 Posted January 5, 2020 Daboll was loving his 12 personnel with Lee/Kroft too much to include him...

I think what was meant is that Beasley is better than a marginal slot guy. He is a legit competent slot receiver - not a fantastic player, not a HOF Edelman type, but better than “marginal” 2
