Has nothing to do with it. Ford was going toward his own endzone. Its a penalty

So next time you are supposed to let the guy make the tackle?? Instead of softly bumping him?

No way that was the proper call.  No- way.  And if it was, the NFL is ***** up and needs to change the rule immediately.

That was a BS call and Booger is BS for supporting it.

Yeah for an ex player to support powder puff calls is a joke.... that call wouldn’t be called in High School but yet the NFL?!

It was the correct call.

What 's so frustrating is that it was totally unnecessary...

Unnecessary?  He woulda tackled Allen without the block.

Yes, it has nothing to do with whether the defender sees it or not. You can't block toward your endzone. That is the rule.

That's a cut back block. Blind side block has to do with the player being blocked.

It's s ***** call, but it's still the rule. You can't block someone while facing your own end zone.

Then does our touchdown on the 2nd half kickoff count?

Called a blindside when he had at least a second of FULL eye contact with the supposedly blindsided player. Absolutely game changing call by the worst officials in pro sports!!

Refs were giving it to the Texans every chance they could.

Didn't see any crack back block on that call.  Took us out of field goal range and a chance to win right there.  Tic Tac b.s. call.

Frustrated....

yup so was the non fair kick off catch, so was the clock hitting zero for 2 full seconds before the 3-18

Thank you for posting the picture. Ford just needs to stand in the guys way. He is clearly facing the wrong way. It's the correct call.

And there's no reason he shouldn't have known that.

Check the rule book

You're right. It sucks that getting in someone's way after they pass the line is a penalty. My mistake.
