Watson is seeing the rush only, he's toast.

How? What was the gesture? How was it communicated? I really

want to know because I don’t see it.

Because he tossed the ball to the ref. Do you think he fumbled the ball forward on purpose while not running. It was a fair call.

He is seeing the rush. But on that last play to be fair he had eyes downfield. The Bills had brilliant coverage.

Leslie Frazier and Sean McDermott have put together one hell of a plan.

Right let's have an offensive drive. Take some clock and end with 7. If we can this game is close to done..

Bills defense is looking like they have 13 players on the field. Watson almost got picked by Neal on the first play, then ran for his life on the next two gaining a yard and taking his 5th sack...

Unbelievable performance so far by this unit.

What does “giving himself up” mean?

No one knows because they keep changing the rules to make it easier to give yourself up at any time, but without any firm rules around it.

Maybe.

I'm okay with it, on the principle that if you don't run the ball out of the end zone you're de facto giving yourself up for a touchback.  But I'm not sure that's what the rules actually say.

He actually pointed at the ref and attempted to toss the ball to him. Bad awareness, yes... but in the modern era of player safety that is giving up.
