From day one Trump was intent on doing economic warfare on Iran and now we have seen that escalate to a shooting war.

Just a reminder, we had inspectors in that country, had an agreement that they would not enrich uranium that the international community was behind.

Trump ended that, and now the killing has begun.

Think it’s a little too early to call it a shooting war. It was an assassination.

But those prophets that said 45 would get us into a shooting war in another country have FINALLY been proven right as he approved drone strikes in Baghdad, Iran.

Wait, that's still in Iraq?  We launched drones in Iraq, in retaliation to attacks on our embassy there and hopefully to preventatively stop further attacks there? But, now we're in a war IN Iran, darn it.  Orange man bad!

Leading the international community in getting an agreement that had inspectors right in the country, ya that sucks! It's better to ratchet up tensions, what can go wrong?

Wait a minute! I thought you were the guy who didn’t like us being nice to our enemies. What happened to the ‘Russia is the Evil Empire’ Tibs we all new and loved in 2019?

Trump ordered the strike: Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said the airstrikes disrupted an "imminent attack" in the region that put American lives at risk.

Too bad these guys have zero credibility. He might actually be telling the truth but there is really no reason to believe that's so.

I don't think Trump wants a war.  Trump cares *deeply* about the markets.  War is bad for markets.

IMO, I think there was a planned large scale, imminent attack on the embassy in Baghdad and something had to be done.  The embassy attack was probably a response to a US cyber attack during the summer.

Iran and the United States have been shooting at each other since 1979.  I'd say it's relatively tame today versus the 80s when you had the barracks bombing, hostages, Iran Air 655/Pan Am 103, Praying Mantis, and a very big etc because there is legitimately decades of events.
