benderbender Posted January 1, 2020 Posted January 1, 2020 He’s not used to touching the ball with his hands! ? Happy New Year! ? 1
Boca BIlls Posted January 1, 2020 Posted January 1, 2020 (edited) I was half expecting tiny hands meme... Edited January 1, 2020 by Boca BIlls 3
Doc Posted January 1, 2020 Posted January 1, 2020 His problem is he looks to run before he secures the catch. 17 2
HansLanda Posted January 1, 2020 Posted January 1, 2020 Well, FWIW, he's had almost as many yards and more TDs (granted he had zero) in his rookie NFL season than in his ENTIRE NCAA career.

His college and NFL TD total is 2 more than mine! The problem is that he's not played as a receiver, really, until he got to the NFL. It shows. 2
Buffalo Boy Posted January 1, 2020 Posted January 1, 2020 https://www.foxsports.com/nfl/buffalo-bills-team-stats?season=2019&week=0&category=RECEIVING Ten drops in fifty targets is unacceptable! Worse yet, easily catchable ball drops. Even worse, drive killers. I don’t care how tough he is or what kind of circus catches he makes, I don’t trust him because he is the opposite of reliable. 6 1
elltrain22 Posted January 1, 2020 Posted January 1, 2020 Most of his drops are due to him taking his eyes off the football. Knox wants to get yac yards, which causes his drift away from the ball. With more development and growth, he'll get better catching the football 1
298Woody Posted January 1, 2020 Posted January 1, 2020 Knox was not really a receiver in college, he was a blocking tight end. I think an off season of good coaching and repetition he will be fine. He has also made some amazing highlight catches and gets open a lot. 4

He wasn’t used as a receiving option in college and played QB in high school. He also missed time during training camp. Give him another off-season. Year 2 will be a big change for him. He might not be Kittle, Ertz, or Kelce, but he’ll be a valuable receiving tight end.

All receivers run before they catch the ball, that's how most pass patterns are designed. The better ones don't drop the ball though. I think Knox will turn out to be a good player, just needs to be more consistent ,which should come with more experience. 1
Flip Johnson Posted January 1, 2020 Posted January 1, 2020 No one is arguing that his drops are incredibly frustrating, but he is going to be an animal in the years to come. 4 1

Cripple Creek Posted January 1, 2020 Posted January 1, 2020 He caught fine until a young fan stole his dew rag. Know anything about that @CountryCletus ? 1
DRA3196 Posted January 1, 2020 Posted January 1, 2020 An offseason with the coaching staff and he will be a very special weapon. Like most of the contributors on this team he is young and needs time and opportunity to develop. 2

He's a bust, PERIOD. You forgot the all caps. You can't expect to be taken seriously without them. 2

Pretty important next 4 games. 1 1
Franco_92 Posted January 1, 2020 Posted January 1, 2020 When his focus is on, his hands are unbelievable. When he's looking up field, he drops like everyone does. That's incredibly coachable and I expect our staff to help him fix it. When he does, he can be a scary good TE. 1

Standing there flatfooted not looking/moving forward is just as bad, amiright? Gotta catch the ball though!!! Edited January 1, 2020 by BUFFALOKIE
