For What Reason Will You Miss Work Saturday

I had the foresight several weeks ago to make sure I am off this coming Saturday. I work 4-10’s and am off Sun-Mon-Tues. so I would have missed the complete game this Saturday had I worked my normal shift. 
 

my question for those of you who have to work this Saturday day is, What reason will you use to miss work?

Well, this thread made me sad because I don't work weekends so I took off Friday and Monday instead.

Last year i worked a job that required me to work weekends regularly. If i still worked it, i would have requested off the entire wild card weekend right after we beat pittsburgh.

Weekends arent mandatory , so i would just tell them im not but we haven't had OT in awhile so im good either way.

My wife works occasional weekends. Even a couple holidays a year. At a hospital. I'm pretty sure shes got at least one more degree than you too.

I have an MBA so prolly around the same amount. I was just making a joke. I work in the Fertilizer industry so spring time brings about an occasional weekend or two for me

I'm off weekends.  Looking forward to finishing early errands and then getting that pepperoni pizza and plopping on the sofa recliner late Saturday afternoon.

I don't work weekends. And the game is on at 9.25pm UK time..... I certainly don't work then. I am actually off from Sat until Wednesday next week because I have been the xmas and new year cover.

My mom doesn't really watch the games, loves having the grandbabies, and my brother lives right around the corner. Guess who's getting two small dinner guests Saturday? ?

Been off since Dec 20th.. go back to work on Jan 6th.. although like @NoHuddleKelly12said, when you have kids is there ever really a day off? Lol
