Lurker Posted December 30, 2019 Posted December 30, 2019 Too bad Jerry couldn't fire himself... 2 4 1 1
clayboy54 Posted December 30, 2019 Posted December 30, 2019 Nothing pleases me more than to see the Cowboys burn. 4
BillsFan4 Posted December 30, 2019 Posted December 30, 2019 It had to happen, but I still feel for all these guys and their families (especially the kids). Lots of people’s entire lives will be uprooted today. I know it comes with the job and these guys are well compensated, but still... 2
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower Posted December 30, 2019 Posted December 30, 2019 Who they bringing in Urban, Lincoln Riley or a pro guy. Won't be Kris Richard.
davefan66 Posted December 30, 2019 Posted December 30, 2019 Not surprised. Jerry getting nervous with all the other teams getting interviews set up. I may in the minority, but they should have kept him. Needed to change out some of his coaches though.
aristocrat Posted December 30, 2019 Posted December 30, 2019 surprised it was the entire staff. new guy has a lot of work to do
apuszczalowski Posted December 30, 2019 Posted December 30, 2019 I was expecting Jerry to Shock the world and extend them all, Cause Jerry is Crazy! But is it a big shock to see them fire everyone? typically thats what happens when a coach gets fired, although many times they don't fully let the staff go, they tell them they can look elsewhere and the new coach can pick if any of them will be retained
Rc2catch Posted December 30, 2019 Posted December 30, 2019 I think Dallas deserves its own thread. They should of fired Garrett immediately after the bills beat them. That team quit on him 1

It will really take a special coach to go there and deal with the Jones's

row_33 Posted December 30, 2019 Posted December 30, 2019 if true this is worthy of a headline for a few hours before folding it into the main thread 1

The title of that huge thread actually changed from black Monday predictions or something to “coaching changes” after I created the thread. If mods want to merge now that the other one is changed, fine with me. Wasn't trying to call you out btw To have one big thread on firings/hirings and to discuss changes for those teams is way too much and the thread could easily go all over the place. I also don't want to search one huge thread like that for news, tidbits or other info pertaining to if any of our guys are linked to said opening (Doubtful, but you never know). I also think it is easier for the population to be able to see a specific hiring/firing thread per team when looking on the main forum page.
