I wouldn’t say I expected it per se, because Clemson is so good, but osu has been elite up front on both sides of the ball all year so I thought it was possible.

The official analyst did not think it was targeting, because Lawrence got low bracing for the hit.

 

In doing that the defender hit him helmet-to-helmet.

 

It's a tough call that could have gone either way.
