Virgil
I’m a fan but... He’s has two throws this game that would be NFL pick 6. Waited too long to throw the ball on curls and the DBs broke on them. Edited December 28, 2019 by Virgil
Rico
Any other time I’d be pulling for OSU tonight, but I really want to see Clemson take a savage beatdown. 1
sullim4
I don't follow college ball at all... but this is crazy. They are on pace for 84 points in a playoff game. Is Oklahoma this bad? LSU this good? Why is there such a disparity between #1 and #4?
Buffalo716
LSU is by far the best team in the country. I don't think Joe burrows is anywhere near a Andrew luck type of prospect Before this season he wasn't even a first-round lock and guys who jump multiple rounds in one class are always a Gamble Though he obviously has talent
dayman
This LSU offense is the greatest offense in the history of college football and it isn't really even that close.

Major difference at the QB position between these 2 teams.
SCBills
Burrow is good but some of you are overreacting to an Oklahoma team that has zero business being in the CFP. They’re the sacrificial lamb because we need 4 teams, and to top it off, they play in the Big 12 where the athletes are nowhere close to LSU’s, and they don’t play defense in that league to begin with. wppete
I have never seen anything like this before. 403 yards passing, 7TDs!!! At half time! And in the NCAA playoff!!! Edited December 28, 2019 by wppete
sven233
I said this in the College thread, but it can't be said enough..... So glad Burrow isn't going to be a Dolphin. Thank you Fitz for destroying their tank effort!
stevestojan
7 TDS in a half? WTF? now Cincinnati just needs 52 other great players and they’re on their way.

I wouldn't say that athletes are nowhere near LSU's level... Oklahoma recruits five-star recruit out the yin-yang and almost always have top 10 classes The difference is in your last point where you said big 12 doesn't play defense and that is what we are seeing

Only Clemson, and before them FSU, have been able to out-athlete teams from that conference. Not coincidentally, Clemson and FSU reside in the SEC footprint. ....but yes, Big 12 is notorious for being the “no defense league”. That just doesn’t translate against the best teams. Kirby Jackson
I tried to convince my brother to lay 40 points. He got nervous and took it at 13.

Oklahoma is full of guys with scholarship offers from Alabama and LSU.. they do have tremendous athletes They just don't focus on the defensive side of the ball Oklahoma has the best winning percentage in college football since world war II

Are they all committable? I highly doubt they are truly beating out Bama, LSU and UGA for guys those schools truly want. I’m sure they have offers, teams mass mail out offers. Yes, they have that winning percentage because they play in a trash league. Kind of like Clemson right now, except Clemson is actually good. Nobody cares about OU from the Stoops era. If we’re being honest, College Football is just the SEC, Clemson and Ohio State right now. Edited December 28, 2019 by SCBills

Oklahoma has good small fast athletes on Defense that is effective in the BIG12 but the SEC teams are monsters.
