Virgil Posted December 28, 2019 Posted December 28, 2019 (edited) 14 mil per. Not bad when Gilmore got 15 from the Pats a few years back. Peters has played much better in Baltimore. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/28383521/source-ravens-marcus-peters-reach-3-year-42m-extension Edited December 28, 2019 by Virgil
Big Turk Posted December 28, 2019 Posted December 28, 2019 (edited) Still is a one trick pony who gets burned too much looking in the backfield tho. But now you see why. Regardless his INT numbers get him paid. They don't look at how many TDs he gave up. Edited December 28, 2019 by matter2003
CEN-CAL17 Posted December 28, 2019 Posted December 28, 2019 Marcus Peters is garbage!!!! 3rd team in in his short career says something. No thanks!
Locomark Posted December 28, 2019 Posted December 28, 2019 (edited) Honestly after Gilmore I figured we might have to pay $18 / yr by the time Tre came up. He should now get Gilmore money and we should extend him as soon as possible. It shows Free Agents we take care of our best players. Edited December 28, 2019 by Locomark 2

billsbackto81 Posted December 28, 2019 Posted December 28, 2019 He's good, not great. He received a lot of IMO unwarranted hype in KC. Without a formidable front 7 he's consistently exposed. That being said he's in a good place for his skill set with the other talent around him but as far as CB's go he's not in Tre's area code.
JoeF Posted December 28, 2019 Posted December 28, 2019 (edited) Is a complete corner like Tre White now worth north of $16 Million AAV? His cap hit this year is about $2.7 Million and $3.2 Million next year. Edited December 28, 2019 by JoeF
njbuff Posted December 28, 2019 Posted December 28, 2019 Tre might become the richest defensive player ever.

And unlike the Mario Williams contract, this one will be worth it. If Beane extends White this off-season, they can front-load the contract in the years before Allen's contract comes up. 1
Hebert19 Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 This is what we should do with tre only pay a little more. 4 year 64M in the offseason

If Beane is paying a DB that when White's turn come up, Pegula should run, not walk, to his office and fire him on the spot. 1 2
Bills Oil Company Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 Ugh - Tre is going to be expensive.
Bills Oil Company Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 I think Tre is 6 years X $18.5M a year = $111M
Nick the Greek Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 Love the haters on this thread. The Ravens are the hottest team in the NFL, and he’s a major contributor. Hard to argue he hasn’t earned a payday. 1

It’s fair to say that his play in Baltimore exceeds what he’s done over the past few years. He fits in really well on the Ravens defense.

Malazan Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 (edited) People have to get over sticker shock. The cap has gone up a lot. Your 9-10 mill player is now a 14-16 mill player. Edited December 29, 2019 by jeremy2020
wppete Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 Tre White is going to get paid!!!! Happy for Tre!
mykidsdad Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 I think we sign Philips, too. Over the next couple of years this core could win a lot of games, but let's win a SB this year, so we have time to win 7 before Allen retires. 2

They will have completed year 3 of a 4 year contract.
