yungmack Posted December 26, 2019 Posted December 26, 2019 One of the keys on a tremendous team. RIP, Duby. 1
ColoradoBills Posted December 26, 2019 Posted December 26, 2019 I remember having an 8x10 black and white photo of Albert Dubenion from Bells Supermarket. I think it was this one. Wish I still had all those pictures today! RIP brother.

Man, I love all the fans wearing suits and fedoras and the support staff surrounding the field. The guy with the pipe and shades is priceless. How the world has changed! That said, RIP Elbert. And may your wheels stay golden forever... 2
par73 Posted December 26, 2019 Posted December 26, 2019 Great player and person from one of the best times in Bills' history. RIP, Duby.
oldmanfan Posted December 26, 2019 Posted December 26, 2019 (edited) Damn. Duby was one of the best. Met him at autograph day and just a really nice guy. Prayers to the family. Edited December 26, 2019 by oldmanfan
Wo-Bah Posted December 26, 2019 Posted December 26, 2019 He was before my time, but I certainly knew who he was. RIP
EricScott Posted December 26, 2019 Posted December 26, 2019 One of my first football heroes, I always wanted to wear #44 on any team I played, no matter what the sport. In his prime I believe he was the fastest player in the AFL; Duby averaged an astonishing 27.3 yards per catch in 1964. RIP Golden Wheels.
Helpmenow Posted December 26, 2019 Posted December 26, 2019 My favorite bills player from that ERA. Always made #44 look great. Now that was threat to score anytime.
OldTimeAFLGuy Posted December 26, 2019 Posted December 26, 2019 ...just THE classic nickname....forever etched in Bills lore............. 1

It's less a tragedy, dying from Alzheimer's and Parkinson's, than it is living with it late-stage. My wife’s uncle is in a coma right now, and his passing really will be a blessing. His wife probably won’t know when he’s gone. I feel for her cousins who have been there through this long, long struggle. Is it just me, or do more people pass around the holidays? All three of our deceased parents went around the holidays. Her father gave it everything he had to not pass on Christmas Day. He knew the date would always be remembered, and he kept fighting a couple more days. My wife was with him Christmas Eve and he told her he had to make it past Christmas. RIP Golden Wheels. 1

Everyone in my family passes on non-holidays. So it's probably just you.
