It is what having Watt healthy does for their scheme. He allows them to substitute less up front and tip their hand less as to what their rush scheme will be play to play.

The question is whether he is healthy or not.

Watt last 4 years:

Hughes last 4 years:

63 games played 21.5 sacks.

Or most people here are clueless. If Watt plays he will be best D lineman on field.

His return at the very least will definitely provide an emotional lift for that defense and that stadium will be rocking.  Should be fun.

Not sure how effective he would be coming off a torn pec.  Texans pass rush is middle of the road.  Bills pass blocking is middle of the road.  Texans rush D is not that good.  Look for a ball control run heavy scheme to keep Watson and Hopkins off the field for long stretches against the Texans

From what I read he came back very fast and he likely will not be 100%z. Hopefully he’s a non factor

Ford or Dawkins against a broken back, 3 spine surgeries, 82 year old J.J Watt who hasn't played in 2 seasons, on crutches?

ADVANTAGE WATT!!

Nope- Jordan Phillips is. Watts not close to the player he was. Just my honest opinion.
