JGMcD2 Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 (edited) I lived in Massachusetts for 4 years and I’ve know this for a long time, but my lord Patriots fans as a whole are extremely low class. I’m a huge Bills fan but I work for a professional sports team so the whole obnoxious cheering and crap talking has been out of my toolbox for a few years now. I keep my mouth shut and try to soak in every aspect of the game... I enjoy that portion of it. Picking up the finer details and analyzing things in real time- it just comes with being a professional. Point being, I don’t invite being attacked. On ten separate occasions, TEN, I had people shoving and soliciting me to fight them. Ten different situations where it was 3-5 on 1 during my experience at Gillette with people attempting to fight me. I was appalled. I can MORE than handle myself but it’s not worth 25 to life for what the end result would have been. I’m just shocked... disgusted. The cops/security/game day staff seemingly turned a blind eye to it all. I know we have a bad reputation in Buffalo but I’ve NEVER experienced situations like these. Phil The Thrill Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 Sorry dude. That really sucks and yes those fans are MASSholes 2
dubs Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 Don’t worry. Next year these creature will forget about the Pats and just focus on the Sox and whatever other team is good that year. More than any other fan base, Patriots fans are the most bandwagon of all. They are a joke and a parody of themselves. I just laugh at them at this point. 2 1
RyanC883 Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 lowest football IQ fans of any team. Total bandwagon fans, and a-holes. 1 3
Do The Reich Thing Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 All of New England can eat my @$$
ALLEN1QB Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 All those Patriot fans are in for a rude awakening because that team is about to hit rock bottom. Did you see the look on their faces when smoke was doing the touchdown dance? 1
Jerome007 Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 The crowd today actually looked like a real crowd, I'll give'em that, instead of the usual jaded bloated crybabies that they can be.
The Firebaugh Kid Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 Every time the camera panned to the crowd I felt worse about the state of the human race. Scumbag entitled bully #######s 1 1

DRA3196 Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 In college I had a roommate from Mass. He was a HUGE Sox fan and this was way before the patriots were any good. thank god. But he was all sox and Celtics and extremely annoying. I feel your pain. I noticed that there wasn't a big contingent of Bills fans at the stadium. I think I know why.
JoPoy88 Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 Yeah I lived in Boston too - they’re certainly not my favorites. 1
wppete Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 My first time in Boston. In general Bostonians are not friendly people and are aggressive people. Won’t be coming back here again. If I want to go to a big city with nice friendly people like Buffalo I’ll go to Toronto. A way better city then Boston. 2

My experiences at gillette have been exactly the same. It's the reason I'll never go to another game there (except for, maybe, a playoff game... maybe).

finn Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 I second this. I'm not looking for Kumbaya, but the Pats fans really do suck overall. (I live in New England.) You hear a lot of sexual references like "The Bills are our b**ch," including in front of kids. The culture of Boston/Eastern Massachusetts has some admirable qualities, but it appears to breed males who are insecure about their masculinity. Could be they're genetically.... how to this delicately?... under-endowed? Their crude insults smack of compensation. An anthropologist should do a study, talk to their poor wives and girlfriends, check the demand for penile-enhancement equipment in the area. Sad, if you think about it. The Pats are their Viagra.
BillnutinHouston Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 I've seen Boston fans act horrifically at New Era Field and Key Bank Center. Not sure why anyone would expect them to behave better in Boston.
RaoulDuke79 Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 The fans may still be #######s, but you're going to start seeing less of them in the stadium over the next few years when the evil empire collapses. 2
