frostbitmic Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 So what you all are saying is that this was a typical patriots game. 4

I didn’t see it but again a nothing call. Posters like you will make our soon to be found domination of NE just a little bit more on the joyful side. 1 1

Plus Harry's job was to block White excessively and use up extra effort on every run play. I am disappointed Hyde let Brady off the hook when he ran. It would have been worth the ejection, suspension, extra drug tests, and the domestic violence charges he would get slapped with during the offseason.
JGMcD2 Posted December 24, 2019 Posted December 24, 2019 Hey guys - I was at the game in person on Saturday, my Dad threw on a recording of the game today for us to watch together. We’ve been able to find answers for a lot of questions we’ve had watching the game but haven’t been able to figure out why Phillips was called for unsportsmanlike conduct. Does anyone have a clue?
Vod Kanockers Posted December 24, 2019 Posted December 24, 2019 Flashback to when Jerry Hughes got 15 yards for patting his teammate on the helmet after making a big 3rd down stop. 1
John in Jax Posted December 24, 2019 Posted December 24, 2019 Had to be "mouthing off" to refs about not getting any calls on the Pats, and surely using vulgar language....and/or the ridiculous defensive holding call on the bills front D-line on that play, or the play before.

Was answered upthread in the original thread on this topic: I don't think anyone has reported what Phillips actually said. But I don't think OLmen are supposed to headbutt DEs. And Shaq Lawson is injured, per McDermott. 2
TigerJ Posted December 25, 2019 Posted December 25, 2019 It may well have been something Phillips said. If that is the case, no video is ever going to show anything. Unless Phillips or the official who threw the flag talks about it, we'll never know.
row_33 Posted December 25, 2019 Posted December 25, 2019 It’s someone else’s fault he couldn’t keep his mouth shut.....
