bills6969 Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 Noting to really play for; we are locked into the 5th seed. Doesnt make a whole lot of sense to play the starters and risk injury, but I can't stomach losing to the Jets. 1 1
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 There’s not a single reason to play anyone important next week. I would test anyone that matters for the entire game 4 1 1
BillsFan4 Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 That’s the one (and only) nice thing about the loss. The Bills are locked into the 5th seed. They can rest their starters next week if they want. and I can actually enjoy one nice Bills football Sunday without being all stressed out the whole game! ? though I’d much rather be playing for the division. 1
Patrick Duffy Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 With Morse out, I certainly hope so. I'd rest every starter I possibly could and hope they are healthy enough for the playoffs. 1
Best Player Available Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 they should rest the OC. 8 1 3
Buffalo Barbarian Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 Might as well after crapping the bed today.
Rc2catch Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 I’m torn. Smart move is probably to sit as many starters as possible to avoid injuries. At the same time I can see reasons to trot the offense back out there to keep working on things. Allen is not a seasoned vet, kinda want him to play and keep slinging it. Every week he is making adjustments from the previous game. Jets play kinda dirty so maybe not so smart to risk any injuries. Tough call for me. 3
Buffalo Barbarian Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 Just now, Best Player Available said: they should rest the OC. Not his fault they didn't run the hurry up all game.
Stallions Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 a game with 30 Frank Gore carries????????????
njbuff Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 Rest the starters for what? So they can go one and done in the playoffs anyways. Did you watch that defensive effort today? 450 yards to a struggling offense and piss poor tackling of epic proportions today? They would have earned the rest with a solid effort, but they play the Jets game, period. 4 1
Sammy Watkins' Rib Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 I would play them for the first half. Don’t want them to be rusty. Maybe sit Singletary.
Giuseppe Tognarelli Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 It should be the Barkley and Duke Williams show. 1
zow2 Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 Well they should definitely sit Brown, Singletary and Tre,... after that some liberal substitutions
DRA3196 Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 Absolutely sit as many as they can. activate Duke and TJ. 1
Patrick Duffy Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 That's what I hope they do. Hopefully Morse will be ok and ready to go by then 1
ROCBillsBeliever Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 (edited) Yes. Yes we do. NE has something to play for next week. We made them work this week, and they will have to work next week. That's fine. Added bonus: Kraft blew some more money on the refs, tonight. His coffers aren't endless. Keep bleeding the Cheats... We know they've got it coming, and they know that their time is running out. Edited December 22, 2019 by ROCBillsBeliever 1
H2o Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 Absolutely. No reason to risk injury to ANY of our key players. You saw Morse go down tonight. Play 2nd and 3rd string everyone.
