LABILLBACKER Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 I've never heard and seen so much national attention toward this game. And a ton of people are picking the Bills. Will Daboll pull out all the stops or continue to struggle and be predictable? Will the refs finally end their 18 year contract with Kraft. Will our defense be asked to carry this team yet again?
Max Fischer Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 Not a trick play but I think Allen and Singletary could be dangerous running the option. Perhaps with Knox or Beasley in the backfield.

Success Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 I actually hate it when teams feel like they have to get all nutty to beat the Pats. The most clear example was that 2 man punt the Colts tried. But you see it all the time in NE games. Just treat it like a normal game and beat them straight up.
Mike in Horseheads Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 The OP is has been right many times, hard to dimiss this post #insider 2

Teams outsmart themselves when playing the Pats*, trying to be cute, Just play your game and beat them. Don't build them up to be something special where you need to pull out all the stops to win. It's not only that. Trick plays succeed when the other team is caught napping. They also have a risk for execution failure when preparing on a short week. The Patriots typically are not a napping team (though Pederson did pull it off nicely) 1
Tesla03 Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 why would we show hidden plays in a virtually meaningless game?? we have already clinched. you don't save up special formations/plays for the playoffs and then use them 2 weeks before.

BuffaloBillsGospel Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 I've yet to be impressed with any of the game calling by Daboll, very unimaginative, heck we don't even see many bubble screens or screens in general. I'm not sure if Daboll knows what that is.
OZBILLS Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 Need to stop their special teams scoring touchdowns

finn Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 I had the same thought. If we noticed that special teams have won them at least two games this year (that is, two blocked punts, not just field goals), the Bills certainly have. And it has to be tempting to beat them the same way. I was thinking an onside kick myself. Not that this is a trick play, but we haven't seen the jet sweep in a long time, or a direct snap to the RB at all. The counter trey, reverses, the tricks you mentioned, I'd like to see them try all sorts of stuff, all the while praying that they deal with the punt blocking on the other side.
Matt_In_NH Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 Better be ready for what the patriots have been saving.
Mickey Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 Illegal footage of Bills' practice leaked! 2
CSBill Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 (edited) I'll take a jet sweep or two with McKenzie or Foster, I can't recall the last game we saw that? Or, that exotic play the call the screen pass? That would really surprise them. Edited December 21, 2019 by CSBill 1
twist_to_open Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 I've never considered the Nick Foles special before, as athletic as JA is and with all his rushing TDs doesn't he need a receiving one as well? 1
