Blank Stare Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 (edited) I remember the media gushing over the Tom Coughlin and Marrone hires a few years ago. Said they had it all figured out. Top front office and coaching situation in the league. For a fleeting moment, it looked like they may have something thanks to an ability to buy a defense with a boatload of cap space. Saps. aristocrat Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 got some first rounders which is nice but they need a qb 1
Rc2catch Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 Long time coming. They’re a mess. Marrone lost the team. They had one run with that defense and everything fell apart. That epic failure so many have had chasing their tail every year trying to get a decent quarterback
Talley56 Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 I still like him for what he and the Giants did to NE in the Super Bowl twice. 6

D. L. Hot-Flamethrower Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 How long is Dougs contract? If he has anything owed to him I'll vomit.
KD in CA Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 I've always been a Coughlin fan, but it's time for the Jags to clean house and start over. Plus that 25% of all grievances thing is hard to get past. 2
Augie Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 I hope Coughlin’s Realtor in London doesn’t take this too hard. Seriously, that seems to be a horrible idea. No one team should have that kind of competitive disadvantage. Just being in their division would suck! Mexico City would be easier, or some place in Canada that is NOT Toronto. 2 minutes ago, YoloinOhio said: They fired him early. They fired him on Coughlin Time. Is that like Rick Pitino in an Italian Restaurant Time? 2

That said I like seeing talented teams in the AFC with bad coaches. Keep Freddie in Cleveland, St. Doug in Jacksonville, Gase in NY, Billy O in Houston etc. Long may they reign. 4
TroutDog Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 CBS saying entire coaching staff is next. 1

Saxum Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 I wonder if VPs have guaranteed contracts like coaches?
HOUSE Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 I am sure sorry ol Dougie left town without saying goodbye 1
John in Jax Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 Maybe Khan ought to fire himself? Lol After all, who authorized the millions and millions to get Foles?

It's going from AFC Championship game to top 10 the next 2 years. Without massive injuries and a similar roster. They traded away their best player because of internal issues. I would argue that Jacksonville is a bigger disappointment than Cleveland. In terms of reporting directly to Khan. Basically, on a daily basis are either guys worth keeping. It states for an interim basis til the end of the season. Edited December 19, 2019 by Mat68
