Foxboro Mike Posted September 8, 2004 Posted September 8, 2004 DREW BLEDSOE - QB - BUFFALO BILLS I did the first half of my draft myself, then let the autodraft do the rest. In a related story, I quit the league.
Zona Posted September 8, 2004 Posted September 8, 2004 Now that's irony for ya. You could have dropped him and picked up McCown from Arizona. i think he will be a good fantasy QB...

I'm thinking of dropping him to pick up Dieter Brock.

In a related story, I quit the league. 22579 Just a side note for you. Tom Brady was the 3rd to last QB taken in my fantasy draft (14th rd). I am only one of two Bills fans in the league, so can't blame that on pure hatred.
34-78-83 Posted September 8, 2004 Posted September 8, 2004 You don't need Foxboro Mike to tell you that someone's gonna regret that....
Foxboro Mike Posted September 8, 2004 Author Posted September 8, 2004 You don't need Foxboro Mike to tell you that someone's gonna regret that.... 22594 I happen to think Brady's going to have a very good year... shocker, eh? I don't have to tell you all that excellent NFL QBs don't always make excellent fantasy QBs. The shining example of that will always be Troy Aikman.
Rayzer32 Posted September 8, 2004 Posted September 8, 2004 You don't need Foxboro Mike to tell you that someone's gonna regret that.... 22594 Ain't gonna be me, I got Culpepper and Bulger in front of Bledsoe.
34-78-83 Posted September 8, 2004 Posted September 8, 2004 Ain't gonna be me, I got Culpepper and Bulger in front of Bledsoe. 22599 No worries for you then you're right... Someone's gonna kick themselves though.
Foxboro Mike Posted September 8, 2004 Author Posted September 8, 2004 Ain't gonna be me, I got Culpepper and Bulger in front of Bledsoe. 22599 Bulger's not a bad pick if your league doesn't subtract for INTs. Curious - did Deion Branch or David Givens get drafted in your league? They were, of course, snapped up in drafts around here. Hell, 5 Pats WR got drafted in my main league: Branch, Givens, Brown, Johnson, and Patten.
Zona Posted September 8, 2004 Posted September 8, 2004 I just added Branch to my team from the Waiver Wire. I hope he has a good year...

And the only WR from NE taken was Branch. I was surprised no one took Brown, especially if he is still returning kicks. I did put my feelings aside and take Dillon in the 11th rd and I have Vinatieri, who hopefully has a better year than last.
Rayzer32 Posted September 8, 2004 Posted September 8, 2004 No worries for you then you're right... Someone's gonna kick themselves though. 22600 The bottom 4 teams will be as they will be out of the money. But you can't win a FFL with 1 player, we all know that.

The end is near for the most clutch receiver in franchise history.

Foxboro Mike Posted September 8, 2004 Author Posted September 8, 2004 Waitaminute...you said you quit the league! 22617 Nah - I'll take satisfaction in putting Drew on the bench, where he belongs.
Foxboro Mike Posted September 8, 2004 Author Posted September 8, 2004 In my despair over seeing Bledsoe on my team, I failed to notice I also have the Bills defense and special teams, too.

LabattBlue Posted September 8, 2004 Posted September 8, 2004 FM....Didn't I hear something about Givens also being banged up??
Foxboro Mike Posted September 8, 2004 Author Posted September 8, 2004 FM....Didn't I hear something about Givens also being banged up?? 22640 Should be fine by all accounts. If anyone's interested in health of Pats' players for FF purposes, I'll be happy to pass along info as I get it.
