Wiz Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 He has baby hands!! 8 1/2 inches https://www.nfl.com/prospects/devin-singletary?id=32195349-4e18-6919-d1e6-003f4632ba87 2
sven233 Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 (edited) He didn't have a fumbling problem in college with a heavy workload. The one from last night was a perfect play by Watt where I think most RBs may have coughed it up. And the 2nd one was really close to not being a fumble. I'd have to go back and watch it again, but I remember thinking his knee may have been down before the ball came out anyway. It never actually mattered because the Bills recovered. But whatever..... He's a rookie and will continue to work on things. Not worried about it at all right now. Edited December 16, 2019 by sven233 2
Rc2catch Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 Small hands, not fast.. Cant believe we wasted a 3rd rounder on arguably our offensive MVP this season. 6
John from Riverside Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 He does not have fumbling problems 5
The Wiz Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 I was worried it was related to his spleen. 3 1
I'm Spartacus Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 It's hard not to fumble in the NFL! 1 2
ganesh Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 Yestereday, the Steelers were repeatedly trying to punch the ball off everyone's grip a lot more than we were accustomed to..It was quite unusual.. 2
BuffaloBillies Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 RBs with at least 100 rushing attempts this year... 3 2
Boatdrinks Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 (edited) I’m sure they’ll coach him up on fighting for extra yards and securing the football. Pats always go for the strip as well, so it will be a focal point. A quick check of NFL combine numbers for RBs does confirm Singletary’s hands are small for an NFL player. Still, I think it’s more about ball position while carrying than his hands alone. Edited December 16, 2019 by Boatdrinks

Right? Watt missed the ball and almost punched Allen in the nuts. 5
Kmart128 Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 He doesnt have a fumbling problem... Steelers are just that good at forcing turnovers... its probably their biggest strength as a football team

DuckyBoys Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 teams watch film He dances in traffic and does so with one hand on the ball The Watt play was a great play by the defense. The second fumble that Brown recovered just too many guys around the football for him not to cover it up and hit the deck
mykidsdad Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 Hopefully, this is one of those anomaly games. An outlier statistically. He is still a huge net positive. He is special.

TJ Watts is a gamer ... that dude was tough on us yesterday. Wish he was a Bill.
bobblehead Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 That first fumble was just solid football on Watts’ part. I’d like to see the Bills do more of that.

If it wasnt for the ones last night you wouldnt be saying that. One game doesnt indicate a trend or a significant problem. Its just a game. 1 game. Versus 1 of the best D's in the league who make a concerted effort to knock the ball out. If people want to be really concerned by this thats their choice, me personally I see it as it was... just 1 game where the ball came out a couple times. I'm sure Devin & the rest of the staff will put extra emphasis on ball security this week in practice. 1
