Shortchaz Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 I immediately began bargaining giving up the game as long as he was okay
GottaRun Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 Does yelling out "Why lord, why?!" count as crapping my pants? If so, yes I did.
wppete Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 Yeah I was panicking. Also when Feliciano went down, I was worried because that guy is a tough SOB.
blacklabel Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 The tackle made an audible "pop" noise and I thought, "Wow, good hit," but then he went down and my thought was, "Oh lawd, I hope that pop wasn't his shoulder." Seemed like a stinger, those are awful. I played JV football and got one in the collarbone when I ended up at the bottom of a pile for a fumble. Someone's facemask came down right in that little area where the shoulder pads don't quite cover your neck.
GregPersons Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 I thought he'd for sure broken his clavicle. What a relief when they showed him on the sidelines seemingly okay. What a shock when he was back on the field in no time. Then that second INT... just a rollercoaster.
Rocky Landing Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 I was at a bar that had until recently been called "The Steel Pit" in Los Angeles. Not sure why they changed the name, but it is still frequented by Steelers fans. When Tre got hurt, I yelled, "NOOOO!!!," and a dick in a Steelers jersey laughed at me, and pointed. They're awful fans, even from 3,000 miles away.
Augie Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 That’s the reason I play it safe. I never wear pants during a game.
