Billsfan1972 Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 Yesterday was an all time low...... Yes a win, but let's thank Duck for that..... To play as scared as they did just makes me shake my head. I think their highlight was getting that first down before halftime so they could run out the clock. After going up 17-10 their goal was to hold the ball for three plays & punt. Pathetic. 2 1 2
stosh64 Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 This thread is an all time low. Congratulations... 2 7 2
buffalo2218 Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 Didn’t really mind them playing conservative after they got the lead. But I do agree that with 2 minutes left and 3 timeouts there was really no call for that. With Pitt getting the ball to open the second half, you gotta try for points there. Allen won’t learn anything with a rely on the defense mindset
Dablitzkrieg Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 Have you seen the Bills' defense? Have you seen Duck?
atlbillsfan1975 Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 It’s McDermott’s style. Sean believes in his Defense to win him games. Sean saw that Duck wasn’t going to win that game. I agree it’s frustrating to watch and it cost the Bills the Cleveland game. My hope is Sean will adjust and get more aggressive when needed.

oldmanfan Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 I’m sorry victories and getting in the playoffs aren’t exciting enough for you. 1
Billsfan1972 Posted December 16, 2019 Author Posted December 16, 2019 I'm thrilled for the win, however can't ignore the fact that they refuse to try on offense. The fourth quarter last two possessions & prior to half does bother me. 1

Billsfan1972 Posted December 16, 2019 Author Posted December 16, 2019 (edited) Again Bills & Stockholme syndrome. 269 yards offense is hard to watch. And it was not the Pittsburgh Defense it was Buffalo playing petrified. Edited December 16, 2019 by Billsfan1972 1
Reality Check Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 I thought McD understood what they had to do perfectly. Hence the 17-10 victory on the road against a team with serious momentum behind them. This is a young team learning how to win. This season has been quite refreshing. A 35-3 victory lends no advantage into next week's game. They are on the rise regardless of what the Bills do in the Playoffs. This team steps up when it's prime time. I just couldn't be happier. 4 1
ProcessYaDigg Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 It's called being conservative, not scared. McD knew that our defense could win this game and that we only needed a few plays on offense to win. With playing this caliber of a defense, McD made the right calls to win the game. At the end, a "W" is the only thing that matters. 2 1
StHustle Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 My honest thoughts when the Steelers got the ball back "Cool our D gets to add another pick to the stat sheet" but I do understand what you are saying. This stuff isnt gonna get us far, IF ANYWHERE in the playoffs.
Just Joshin' Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 Now I remember why you are on ignore: my brain can not handle the expert football analysis you provide.

We can only hope but I won't hold my breath. A good QB would've taken advantage of the conservative nature and boneheaded penalties that followed. Edited December 16, 2019 by billsbackto81

Yes we're Bills fans, but if you look at this team realistically, they are very boring to watch. Just a fact....... 1
