Giuseppe Tognarelli Posted December 13, 2019 Posted December 13, 2019 I think another team will claim him first, but I do hope the Bills put in a claim. He would be a nice addition for the playoff run and a good emotional boost. I love it. 1

All the dead money has been eaten by the Cardinals. Whomever claims him would only owe him his prorated salary for 3 games. No contending team could pass on him. IMO Does anyone know how much his three games salary is? And does his contract go into next year?

His base salary was $3 million. He would be owed less than 1/4 of that for the remainder of the season. As far as next year, he technically would have a contract, but all the guaranteed money would be paid. He could be cut with 0 cap concerns.

LABILLBACKER Posted December 14, 2019 Posted December 14, 2019 11 games, 5.5 sacks, 37 tackles, 8 FL....depends if he would fall to us. Worth a try....

Probably only the playoff bound teams will want to put a waiver. His cap hit may be high

He has like 37 tackles & 5.5 sacks i'd say he's doing pretty good for a 37 yr old LB but i don't see the Bills picking him up !
Augie Posted December 14, 2019 Posted December 14, 2019 Who would we cut to make room for the 37 year old for a few games? How would that affect the cap?

That prototypical "situational pass rusher" He was opposite of Chandler Jones who has 14 sacks. Being opposite of Hughes is not really an uptick for him. And he'll likely end up in Baltimore. 1
