Yeah it’s all on Allen. There’s a million excuses but it don’t matter. This offense is his. He owns it. When he’s on this offense looks good. His receivers are almost always open. He chooses to make the hard throws down the field instead of the easy ones that get you first downs. You can’t have rhythm if you won’t complete the easy passes. The offense will always sputter until he makes the easy ones. Yeah his guys drop some balls but so does every team. We just watched crowder drop the easiest pass in the world for a touchdown. It happens to every team.
One could argue maybe his guys don’t drop those balls in the third quarter if Allen is in rhythm and getting them the ball the first two quarters. Either way, you can go add all the receivers you want and get all the best offensive linemen it won’t matter if Allen can’t read the field or make basic easy throws

One could argue that the sun rises in the west to.

I mean this is a truly bizzare excuse for why there were several big drops in the 3rd quarter.  Like I said - ADS.

I'm inclined to think that the OL not allowing untouched rushers all game helps. But hey, you do you.

He had the equalizer. He could of stopped that rush at anytime all he had to do was hit one deep ball and they would of backed off more.

But it’s really not.  Baltimore blitzed over half the time on Sunday.  In Cover 0, it means you usually bring more rushers than the offense can defend.  It’s up to a QB to diagnose the situation and figure out where the pressure is coming from.  Allen didn’t do that and I have numerous articles that will support this.

Maybe but he is making great decisions and is very accurate with his passes.  He looks great and it’s a completely opposite to what we saw on Sunday

No offense, Phil, but you are casting grave doubt on your football assessment chops here.  It’s way way easier to make great decisions and be accurate when you aren’t facing a defense that’s playing like their jocks are on fire and hitting you puts it out.

For Exhibit A, consider how Allen’s decision making and accuracy looked vs Dallas.

The Ravens D is playing soft as play dough this half.  They just aren’t heating Darnold up like they did Allen.

Gonna have to disagree there. Once they saw the OL was shambolic, it was blood in the water.

This is a bad take.

There is a distinct difference in game planning that we have seen throughout the season which has had 100% impact on the productivity of our offense. Allen takes a good chunk of the blame, but not all of it.

Allen should take about 75% of the blame for the game.  He couldn’t figure out where the blitz was and when he did, he failed to make the defense pay on long passes.

He did better late in the game when his receivers let him down.  But he deserves a lot of the criticism for the offense sputtering.

This.

The Ravens wouldn't have sent the house every play and played cover 0 if they thought we could pass vertically.

They're playing Darnold in an entirely different way.

You can’t honestly watch this game and not acknowledge how different the Ravens energy on defense is.

Ravens Defense made Allen, Watson, Garropolo and Goff all look foolish but Darnold is they guy they can’t stop?

Phil.  Give it a rest.  Now.  This is a thread about the Jets-Ravens game.

Go re-read the TOS about “We want people to share their opinions, not bludgeon others to death with them”
