Clemfield2622 Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 So, I never get to watch these shows because I'm usually at work. But of course the show starts with the Patriots loss. And the angle they went with was it was all because of officiating. It was doubly strange seeing that Greenberg is obviously a huge Jets homer, so I'm guessing he is being told to push this angle. Well, Rex responded with the same thought that I know we all have, "oh, boo hoo, some calls went against the Patriots. I guess we should change the whole system because calls were missed against them. Me? I love seeing it" It was great. Thanks for the laugh, Rexy 3 5 1 1
badassgixxer05 Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 Say what you want about Rex, but he has hated the Patriots as much as all of us. He wanted nothing more then to give them some loses while he was here, just didn't work out. 1 1

GunnerBill Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 I didn't tune in.... but if I had I'd have witnessed a good joke - Rex Ryan. 1

He may have wanted like hell to beat them. He may have wanted to win games and even a Super Bowl. But he didn’t want any of that badly enough to actually put real time and effort into accomplishing it. 2 2
whatdrought Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 (edited) Below I will list alphabetically, all of the non-Patriots fans who feel any empathy for this and don't believe that it's well deserved after years of the ***** getting favorable calls: I'm only stopping so as to not take up the entire thread. Wow. Add into that Gilmore saying they were left on their own to watch film (or not) and no wonder his teams often looked ill-prepared. 1
416BillsFan Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 Rex had a rough start but is really coming into his own as an analyst a panelist/personality.

He's just a circus act. Just like he was as the Bills' head coach. He offers nothing of value wherever he goes. He's an ass.
Wayne Arnold Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 Has enough time passed to where we don’t have to hate Rex any more? 1 2

Over 29 years of fanhood Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 Ironic he’s on a show called ‘get up’ the only positive thing I can attribute to him is driving the Bills franchise to rock bottom so there was nowhere to go but up 1

I don’t know what hours he rolled with, but he took a bunch of coaches down to Cleveland for a MLB playoff game rather than getting prepared for the NFL game that weekend. I do not think film study and preparation was a huge part of his plans.

Post of the day. But what about his D guru bro? What a conundrum that sleeping at the office without a shave/shower also couldn’t produce a cohesive plan! 2 hours ago, Hapless Bills Fan said: Did he really do that? Even now on shows they'll be doing Xs and Os and he is like 'you gotta get mad and punch them in the mouth man!!!'. It's all the dude has in his coaching tool box, cheerleading.
Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 Whether politicians or professional coaches, the accomplishments of the younger generation often seem to fall short of the parent generation.
