78thealltimegreat Posted December 10, 2019 Posted December 10, 2019 Yes I would have definitely gone for 2 with Josh’s mobility I think my chance of converting is better then 50/50 maybe run the old Statue of Liberty play

If Brown was bigger he could have boxed him out and prob may a better play on the ball. I would have liked to see him come back to the ball a bit more and cut off Peters, but Allen throws a bullet and he didn't have much time to adjust. A nice TE like Kittle, Ertz, would've been nice on that play. 1
SinceThe70s Posted December 10, 2019 Posted December 10, 2019 Would have been a really tough call. On one hand you're relying a good deal on an OT coin flip. On the other hand you're relying on a 2 pt conversion which is also pretty much a coin flip - except that since you already made a 2 pt conversion your odds have decreased. I still think I'd go for the win. Seize the day
Watkins101 Posted December 10, 2019 Posted December 10, 2019 What I would do is line up for the 2 point conversion. If we get a look we like, go for it. If not, take a timeout (if we had one left) or take the delay of game penalty.

They were down by 15. You need 7 points on one drive, and 8 on the other. There's no opinion on this. McDermott made the right call.
