4merper4mer Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 (edited) It seems like this might be an above average year for firings. I'll list candidates and my predictions, please do the same and add candidates I may have missed. Car- in the books Was - in the books NYG - I'll predict no Dallas - Yes Atl - Yes Det- no Chi - no NYJ - I really hope not but yes Cin - no Cle- yes Jax- yes LOL LAC- no Den - no, barely a candidate IMO Edited December 9, 2019 by 4merper4mer 1
CLTbills Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 Jets are (fortunately) not firing Gase. No way Shurmur comes back to the NYG. Marrone is gone. I think Patricia is probably gone in DET. They have shown basically zero improvement.
Alphadawg7 Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 (edited) Well if you go off of the over reactions from today, I’m sure some Over dramatic schmuck is gonna add Buffalo to your list. Edited December 9, 2019 by Alphadawg7 1
78thealltimegreat Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 There’s always one surprise firing I’d go with Arizona Kyler Murray doesn’t seem to be getting any better

I think he gets one more shot.
Virgil Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 Denver is more than 50/50 yes. He's apparently not well liked by anyone on the team or within the organization.

apuszczalowski Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 The Giants are rumored to be wanting Garrett if the Cowboys fire him, and the Cowboys will be firing him (they may do it even if he wins the SB....) I think the Lions fire Patricia, they don't seem to be playing for him anymore, it looked good to start the year when they looked close to beating a bunch of teams, but now they just don't look lie they are making an effort The jets will use injuries as their reasoning for Gase getting another year I think Jacksonville will but I think that entire organization needs to be blown up and started over Cleveland might also, they have been a huge disappointment and they appear to have a poor lockeroom that isn't being controled, seems like its a big Frat House there I think the Chargers move on from Lynn, they probably start a complete rebuild too and move on from Rivers I'd say Chicago is more likely to move on from Mitch then they are from moving on from their HC, now that Mitch is playing much better I think both are around next year if he keeps playing like he has the last couple weeks.

He may just squeak by this season if Lock has them winning out, but he probably starts next year on the hot seat 7 minutes ago, Phil The Thrill said: Patricia has somewhat of an excuse for this season with injuries - and losing Stafford. The defence (supposed to be his specialty), hasn't looked special at all, I wouldn't be surprised to see them make an attempt at one of the bigger name guys getting let go this offseason

ticketssince61 Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 After this year, it may be that all former Bills head coaches are gone (Mularkey [previously], Lynn, and Marrone)

Well maybe Lynn will be forgotten, he hasn't really done anything memorable except for taking over for Rex.........

whatdrought Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 Doesn't Ron Rivera to NYG make a little too much sense not to happen? (assuming Gettlemen doesn't get fired) 1
ehfeuh57 Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 I thought this was going to be a Daboll thread
