TPS Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 Something I've been thinking about and today confirms it for me. The Bill's return game isn't good enough to waste a spot dressing Roberts. I believe they'd be better off dressing Duke. 13 1 1
Kiva Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 I agee, why did we sign him? He is constantly not making it to the twenty and costing us yards. He’s not fast. Duke doesn’t have the skill to turn into anything special. I think they are both gone next year.
Lurker Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 Agreed. He's lost his speed. Nothing left in the tank... 1

BillsFan692 Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 Agreed no need to keep him he hasnt lived up to the hype. I could do without McKenzie too personally 2

VirginiaMike Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 I my opinion, he's played well for us this year. Not too much today, but over the year he's been good. There are other areas needing more attention. 18
LABILLBACKER Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 Andre has been a surprising disappointment. He hasn't busted 1 good kickoff or punt return all season. But our punt and kickoff block coverage might be the worst in the league. Farwell is actually worse than Crossman. 4
skibum Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 Seriously? He was one of the only non-Defensive Bills to do his job competently all day today. He caught all the balls that came to him, for example. The days of Devin Hester are long gone - big returns just don't happen much anymore. 4

Is this a serious question? He had his shot and failed, he’s been inactive since. He has RAW potential but is not good. Don’t think he sees the field again this year and we release him during off season. 1
John from Riverside Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 Not his fault.....the blocking he gets is horrid He much more noticable because behind Brown and Beasely we have JAGS You get a talented WR to play across from Brown and watch this offense pick up.....Bease would always be open 3

He's not the reason Duke isn't dressing either. This reasoning is misplaced. 6 1
Freddie's Dead Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 Roberts can't do much when the Ravens gunners are running down the field freely, not even slowed down by the Bills. He had no chance on the PR's. 6 2
thenorthremembers Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 They need to draft two wideouts. Go get KJ Hamler from Penn State and drop Roberts. 1
Warcodered Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 Didn't he have the 3rd most return yards going into this game? I mean he hasn't had a homerun yet but he's been consistently good. 17 1 1
MassHog Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 He was returning punts well the previous few weeks 4

McD will still dress special teams dynamo sinorice Perry. Guy constantly over does it with special teams at the expense of the offense. One or both of Julian Stanford and Sinorice Perry should be inactive to help the offense with guys like Yeldon, Duke, or Sweeney. You’re telling me Yeldon wouldn’t have helped underneath catching short passes today on those cover 0 blitzes? He did great against NE in that role. Or maybe Duke gets you a physical catch today against a physical defense that bullied our diminutive receivers. Sweeney can’t be worse than Kroft. Guy is invisible. ToGoGo Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 I think he's one of the elite returners in the NFL. He's been a bit unlucky on returns, but that's the NFL in 2019 for you. Do we really want Hyde out there risking injury? Or some special teamer who might muff the kick? Roberts will get us those 7 extra yards on a punt every time. I like having stability back there. I wouldn't mind seeing Duke given a shot, but not at the expense of Roberts. 6
Beast Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 The Ravens have one of the best ST units in the league. Roberts has been a very good returner for us. Not a waste of a spot....at all. 7
Ethan in Cleveland Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 Roberts has been fine. He makes decent decisions and is sure handed. He's not the problem on the 46. Gore doesn't even belong on the 53. Yeldon should be active. Gore has brought nothing to this team. 1
