They didn't play that great today we should have been able to pull off a win but we couldn't block, catch, or throw. Sure, they have a good record and the MVP so you can celebrate if 7 point loss if you want...but that doesn't change our lack of execution.

funny how it gets tougher against the best opponents

they gave their best, not good enough today

They also gifted us a 15 yard flag for a phantom unnecessary roughness penalty on Allen in that scrum and gave us a free shot at winning the game on the "PI" call against Beasley.  He just took a dive on that.

Folks here love to B word about the refs.  It evens out for the most part.

It sometimes evens out, not always. But it's nice that it happened in our favor for a change. Now we know what it feels like to be Pats fans :D

These types of scenarios, where the refs give a team an opportunity to tie or win a game, happen more often in prime time games or big match ups IMO. Brady is a pro at taking advantage of these ref-gifted opportunities. We had a 1st and 10 from the 17. It's unfortunate we couldn't convert. The NFL wouldn't have minded us winning and taking that street cred with us to a SNF game with the Steelers for more eyeballs.
