Dan Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 Complete inability to handle the blitz nearly got Allen killed. And once again...drops... of balls literally hitting receivers on their hands. We need a way to counter the blitz. And we need receivers that step up and catch the ball when he game is on the line. 7

As long as we don't meet Philly in the SB. Still work to do to get there unfortunately. Winning either of the next 2 will be very tough. I hope today doesn’t come back to sink us.
BillsMafi$ Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 We got aided by a bunch of penalties. Game wasn’t that close 1
Rockinon Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 Got to have more Blitz beating plays drawn up. It's obvious they weren't ready for this kind of defense.
DuckyBoys Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 Well a step back game for Josh Allen. O line struggled in protection. Clearly evident we need more/better play makers around Allen. Super frustrating to watch. All that said Allen connects on a few of those missed deep throws and it would have been a different game. The broken coverage to start the second half was a killer much like the Eagles game.
LabattBlue Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 Nice job of rolling out Allen when it was clear all day that the OL couldn’t protect him. ???
RiotAct Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 also, why the hell didn’t McDermott challenge the blatant PI non-call early in the 4th quarter? 2 1 1

It hasn’t worked since week 1 If it’s man to man throw to Cole Beasley. Open on that last play easy first down. Draft a real TE.... a real #1 WR....dump Gore and draft Jonathan Taylor. Let Singletary be rb2....this offense and Daboll have struggled ALL YEAR! 1 1
GoBills808 Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 Went toe to toe w the best team in the league and people complaining gtfo 3 1 2
Best Williams Available Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 Disappointing result but the O played terrible and it came down to the last 2 minutes. JA needs to learn how to play at home, emotionally.
Blank Stare Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 It’s crazy to say, but I like us better on the road. Just have to hope we can pick up one more W and get into the playoffs.

It was a very evenly played game, w/ the Ravens having a slight edge, and the score reflected that. The officiating was one-sided in their favor for the 1st 3 or so quarters, and then in the Bills favor for the last. Evened out completely. 1
HOUSE Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 The Wr's dropped to many passes today, 3rd down conversations was the killer. Oh well guys, SUCK IT UP. Lots of football left. 3
HappyDays Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 My take from the stadium is that pass protection was brutally bad today. Allen missed some throws, receivers dropped some balls, and I didn't see open receivers he was missing. But pass protection was by far the biggest problem. 7 4
colin Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 I was really hoping we'd get a home playoff game, now obviously we won't. I will say tho: we play better on the road in a lot of ways. Visiting a suddenly falling Houston squad would be a possible playoff win
Nitro Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 Bills defense was stellar. Held Jackson to 139 passing and the Ravens to 118 rushing. One costly turnover deep in the Bills end gave them an easy TD. 3 1

Lurker Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 Just now, MDH said: Both the Steelers and Pats have better Ds than the Ravens. On the road for both of those games too. I don't agree with that. The Ravens are a much more effective blitz-pressure team. With a fantastic set of DBs. The Pittsburgh and Pats game will be very, very tough. But if we get 50% better play out of the offense we can have a shot at those games... 2
