Paul Costa Posted December 4, 2019 Posted December 4, 2019 Would the Panthers be interested in Coach McDermott? Would he be interested in going back there? I don’t think so and hope not. But........ 3
Bob Chandler's Hands Posted December 4, 2019 Posted December 4, 2019 He's under contract with Buffalo. If they want to trade a couple first rounders for him... 6 1
GunnerBill Posted December 4, 2019 Posted December 4, 2019 No. And nor would Terry Pegula. Next question. 10 4

Rc2catch Posted December 4, 2019 Posted December 4, 2019 The “Carolina connection” is kinda dead at this point. Beane and McDermott’s connections over there are almost completely gone. 1
thenorthremembers Posted December 4, 2019 Posted December 4, 2019 The current Owner wasnt even there when McDermott was. The current GM was but he isnt going to make it into next year. The ties to McDermott there will all likely be gone before the 2020 season begins. Tepper is moving forward, not backwards- next. 1
aristocrat Posted December 4, 2019 Posted December 4, 2019 for a couple first rounders i'd think about it. but they aren't paying that.
CLTbills Posted December 4, 2019 Posted December 4, 2019 No. He came here and took on a rebuild that took three seasons to come to fruition. He's not leaving just to start it all over. And I can promise you, he's in line for an extension and a raise here. 8 1
billsfan_34 Posted December 4, 2019 Posted December 4, 2019 Knock it off already! 1 minute ago, aristocrat said: for a couple first rounders i'd think about it. but they aren't paying that. No way! The culture created and the complete puzzle that is being assembled completely trumps draft picks. 3 1
ProcessYaDigg Posted December 4, 2019 Posted December 4, 2019 But nothing. He's not going anywhere and why would he? He's got a great thing going on right now. You must be a Panthers fan. Lock this thread please. 2

Not to mention that a rebuild is sort of like a draft pick--its a bit of a crapshoot. If your QB doesn't pan out, or you miss no some draft picks, you can very easily fail and not get a second bite at the apple. 1

He and Beane are so in tune with each other that there's no way he's going anywhere. And like I stated, if it's for more money, I have no doubt Pegs would extend him with a nice raise. He's earned it. 1
bills8323 Posted December 4, 2019 Posted December 4, 2019 hopefully their new HC tears it down and we could grab some of their talented veteran players in the offseason who want to reunite with McD. Long shot but I certainly wouldn't mind Luke? 2
