You said you cheated so I don't know.

Who really  ain't  cheating  at times.   Rolling my eyes ?.

Sorry ?  was being too honest.  Sorry  for  violating  the spirit of the thread.  Nobody would have guessed it given  the get-up she wore on the show  later in life.  It was basically  a costume.   Sigh ?

I cheated.  Nope.  But she was on TV...

"...Well the first thing you know ol Jed's a millionaire,
Kinfolk said Jed move away from there
Said Californy is the place you ought to be
So they loaded up the truck and moved to Beverly.
Hills, that is. Swimmin pools, movie stars..."

I’m disappointed that you gave it away. I would have offered clues and it was a perfect choice. No way did anyone know that little old Granny Clampett was such a looker. Boo...

To let it play out I would have given clues like: Known for a popular long-running ‘60s TV show. Played the matriarch on the show. The show was one of the popular Filmways productions that dominated TV at the time. Her career began in Vaudeville and radio.

I wouldn’t have given it away with the theme song right off the bat.

No, but it did have a song that became a #1 hit, though not for the person who sang it in the movie.

The sound of music?

He was in the original version of a movie that was later remade.

Any movie in the last decade fits this.

Name or character he played.

Don't recall the actor's name, but he played Charlie in the original Willy Wonka movie.
