Every week is different
Freddie's Dead Posted December 2, 2019 Posted December 2, 2019 (edited) We lost because Dabollocks dialed up an 80/20 pass/run ratio (same reason we lost to the Browns). And don't give me that game was out of hand crap, it was a two-score game until the Eagles drive in the 4th Qtr that took 9 mins. Now that he's pounding the rock more, we're winning. JoshAllin Posted December 2, 2019 Posted December 2, 2019 Eagles were desperate and I believe the wind were about 30mph that day, and coaches decided to pass while eagles ran it all over us

Don't we win if we open up the passing game more and throw for 300 :-) 1
Kmart128 Posted December 2, 2019 Posted December 2, 2019 Suprisingly we have been much better on the road than at home

SCBills Posted December 2, 2019 Posted December 2, 2019 Bad games happen. That's really our only "bad" game of the year. That being said, we've been a solid team through the Cleveland game.. We've been a very good team since then.. That Cleveland loss, and how we lost it, may end up being a huge blessing in disguise given how our coaching staff learned from, reacted to and changed as a result.

The common thread of the Browns and Eagles losses is that the Bills abandoned their running game. The Eagles ran the ball 41 times. We ran it 12 times with our RB's. They won Time of Possession by almost 12 mins. Against the Browns we only ran the ball with our RB's 14 times We ran the ball 47 times against the Broncos (36 with our RB's) and 34 times against Dallas, 24 with the RB's... We cannot abandon the running game! 1
T master Posted December 2, 2019 Posted December 2, 2019 Was that the game the Bills only ran the ball 12 times ? Oh no that was the other game they lost to the Browns thats right ? 1

The down field passing game was challenged even in the 10 to 20 zone where Josh has thrived this year. He closed the game 0 for 10. Eagles hurt the Bills with screens, shallow crosses and QB 3rd down runs aside from their conventional run plays. They had the better windy day offense.
somnus00 Posted December 2, 2019 Posted December 2, 2019 Something happened to this team after Cleveland. I think they realized that their biggest obstacle was themselves. This has been a different team since that game.

Missed tackles - they got gashed for 200+ on the ground... and like a 9 minute drive basically iced the game.
Scott7975 Posted December 2, 2019 Posted December 2, 2019 It was a bad week. We hadn't completely found our stride on offense or defense yet and the wind was horrid that day. I think all teams have a bad week or two really.
