That almost looks like the official did that can't really see from the video

Almost like when the Steelers went to the fox and all of there headsets did not work

Upon some research.

Officials did NOT Spot the ball properly on 1st and 10.

Video the ball is just inside the 15, when it should have been placed more on the 14.

Per YAHOO! SPORTS, Play Log, on 2 and 8 from Dallas 49, Prescott completed a 22 yard pass to Harmon.  New England was penalized an additional 15 yards for Roughing the Passer.  The pass plus penalty would have put the ball on 14 meaning the first down marker should have been the 4 yard line.

Which the official did (although not best timing) move it to so it was correct.

Why would you want to bust-up the “cheating Patriots” narrative? I bet you don’t believe in flying saucers either!

Except that if you move the chain forward, shouldn't you move the ball forward a yard too?

It’s an officiating “fail” all around it looks like.  Dallas basically started 1st and 11.

Ha! So the cheats gained an advantage from it after all! ;)

Tbh, I didn't look at the circumstances around it, it just looked especially dubious, and the Cheaters were at home...
