Sherlock Holmes Posted November 28, 2019 Posted November 28, 2019 My wife is going absolutely ape$#!+... If we don't win today I'm in for a spectacular hurting of epic proportions. If I had led on about the game any earlier all i would've heard was endless nagging. I think having the Lions game on made her suspicious... 1 1 5 1 1
Royale with Cheese Posted November 28, 2019 Posted November 28, 2019 I’m honestly confused how she didn’t know if you’re a Bills fan. 1 1
Bronxbomber21 Posted November 28, 2019 Posted November 28, 2019 Let her know Thanksgiving will be canceled if she gives you any problems about the game 2
Kiva Posted November 28, 2019 Posted November 28, 2019 My wife respects my likes and understands that this is the first time bills play since ‘94. She’s not selfish and cares about me and the Bills. 1 1
loveorhatembillsfan4life Posted November 28, 2019 Posted November 28, 2019 Lol great post! I had to nicely ask my wife to take both kids to skating even though she would like to watch. But she doesn't want to cancel the kids skating lol 1
billsherd Posted November 28, 2019 Posted November 28, 2019 Mine is at work and she trying to finish early to join me to watch the game. We are debating watching alone or going out near by. 1
Process Posted November 28, 2019 Posted November 28, 2019 I want to be respectful and not talk **** about another man's wife so I'll just say, I feel sorry for you and you need a divorce. The bills play on Thanksgiving once every twenty years and you are clearly a big bills fan, tell the Mrs to lighten up. 3 1

RiotAct Posted November 28, 2019 Posted November 28, 2019 just tell her the game is extremely important to you; and if she could go ahead and just be okay with this, that would be great. 1
jethro_tull Posted November 28, 2019 Posted November 28, 2019 (edited) probably holiday season stress. it will blow over. or not. should've broken it to her early. Edited November 28, 2019 by jethro_tull 1 1
PromoTheRobot Posted November 28, 2019 Posted November 28, 2019 (edited) This is the only rule I have. Bills take priority over EVERYTHING! My wife knows after 40 years. But I do make a point to announce when games are ahead of time. Edited November 28, 2019 by PromoTheRobot 1
Formerly Allan in MD Posted November 28, 2019 Posted November 28, 2019 Mine is bad enough with Sundays. Now "it's holidays as well?" 1
Buffalo Boy Posted November 28, 2019 Posted November 28, 2019 My wife is a fan. How could you marry a woman who doesn’t like the Bills? 1
Returntoglory Posted November 28, 2019 Posted November 28, 2019 Of course not. 35 years of marriage AND my wife knows my loyalty to the Bills! ? 1

Listen to this guy, OP, and file for divorce tomorrow morning. 1

thurst44 Posted November 28, 2019 Posted November 28, 2019 We went out to early dinner, and my wife and her mother and brother are at a movie, while my uncle (fan since 1960) and me went to our house to watch the game. Then, she once surprised me with a Bills uni for our dog Trixie, so she's pretty cool with the fandom. 1
Wayne Arnold Posted November 28, 2019 Posted November 28, 2019 Yuck. Why would anyone marry a woman who would go ballistic that the Bills are playing? Life is too short and you only live once. 1
