Seasons1992 Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 It sucks that racism is alive and well in the US of A.
LeGOATski Posted November 28, 2019 Posted November 28, 2019 Does the Buffalo area seem to have a bit of a problem with racism? That's the vibe I've gotten over the years. It may be the upper northeast in general. The Boston area certainly has an issue with it, too. I grew up there.

Saxum Posted November 28, 2019 Posted November 28, 2019 From what I can tell it is more of an economic divide and many of the black people are on same side of divide. I have relatives in Black Rock who have had been told to get a different mailing address when they apply for jobs.

Buffalo is definitely a nice area, don't get me wrong. Plenty of good people. 6 hours ago, Nextmanup said: Buffalo is historically one of the most segregated cities in the country. Yeah? I don't know the history, but I guess that wouldn't surprise me. I've lived in a bunch of different areas around the US and can't deny the vibe I've gotten from those northeast areas. Maybe there's just more of a culture clash there.
Orlando Buffalo Posted November 28, 2019 Posted November 28, 2019 reading most of the complaints it seems that Tesla was hiring a lot of low class people, who will always dislike "others". High class people just want someone to work with who does their job well so I do not have to pick up the slack. 2

I didn’t believe it until I was in an interracial relationship. I don’t leave the house much in the last year because I’m disabled but when I could there wasn’t a day that went by that I didn’t hear someone making racist comments. Maybe it completely changed in that year but I highly doubt it because there’s still a ton of people that say otherwise Edited November 28, 2019 by Not at the table Karlos

Maybe I'm a good person and only deal with good people But I also have a house on the Eastside and see everything Edited November 28, 2019 by Buffalo716

You don’t know one so they don’t exist. Not just me. My girlfriend, her kids. My relatives that are mixed, my employees, former coworkers, neighbors, people walking down the street, a Native American that was chased by 20 people down Louisiana because they thought he was African American and hid in a shed until police came and escorted him out of the mob. Love joy residents throwing rocks at african Americans driving through the area. I can go on. You are definitely wrong here. Edited November 28, 2019 by Not at the table Karlos

White people don't mob blacks or Latinos in mass White people don't hate black people in Buffalo and you're just making it worse It's not that inherent There are racists in every city it's not inherent. I had a black person call me a cracker and put a gun to my head are they all racist, no they aren't Edited November 28, 2019 by Buffalo716
