Man, remember the reports that Rudolph was next up on our list of the QBs McBeane wanted if we missed out on Allen? I do. I was petrified that would end up being what we ended up with.

Some Duck Hodges nicknames, other than Duck Dodgers in the 24th and Half Century, which is the leader in the clubhouse:

"Darkwing"

"Daffy"

"Donald"

"Scrooge Mc"

"Joe"

"Howard"

"Baby Huey"

"Rubber"

I do remember that.  After watching a bunch of Mason Rudolph games I wound up deciding I wanted us to draft James Washington

I guess his parents must have quacked up to let him do that

Maybe they did it to feather their nests?

I'd tell them they really laid an egg with that choice, but it would probably go over like water off a duck's back

probably best for the safety of many that he doesn't play against the Browns

I think that has a lot to do with the timing of the decision.  Smart.   Plus he’s awful so there’s that.  And I’m sure there’s some hard feelings with some of his teammates about that racial slur he used.  Not really a strong leadership move there.

Same. I didn't want Allen either, but I sure as all blank didn't want Lil' hands. He never had the tools to make it in the NFL.
