Allen’s passer rating on third down. Allen was 7-for-9 for 99 yards on third down, with five passing first downs and a rushing first down. Allen’s ability to extend drives with timely throws slowly took the life out of the Cowboys defense. He’s accounted for a total of 56 first downs on third down this season to go with a passer rating of 99.6 on third down.

I think we're still on the lower end of playmakers on this offense.. Knox is coming along, Brown is a stud, Beasley gets the job done, and then guys like Foster and McKenzie are nice role players, but add in a another high 2/1b receiver and I think things really take off for him. 

 

With Daboll running a similar system as the patriots we may not need a star receiver. I wont be upset if we dont get one but i think we are fine with the type of players we have.

He’s an assassin. When he was threading the needle every third down in the second half against Dallas I was like man I’d hate to have to play against this guy.  It was a great feeling.

Anyone have his rushing for first downs stats??  I feel like he converts a few CRUCIAL third downs a game with his legs.  Plus he has been dynamite in the red zone.
