plenzmd1 Posted November 26, 2019 Share Posted November 26, 2019 A typical Thanksgiving day..my sister and her family, my family, and my MIL at her house suburbs of DC. (Games typically on during the following) 1) BLTs for lunch around 12:30 or 1 2) bowling about 3PM..kinda boring , nothing to bet on etc..they all stink 3) Cocktails begin about 5( beer for me all day, but for the rest of the folks) 4) Big traditional Thanksgiving meal about 7;30, dished not done till like 9:30 or so. Same conversations we have been having for the last 10 years during it all... by 9:30 want to stab myself in the eye This year. Brothers family coming from Buffalo to join in the fun 1) Smoked turkey sammies and a few sides for smallish lunch at noon 2) Family bowling during the early game, plenty of beer bets with my nephews all during bowling. GR on the speaker we will bring, alley always empty that time of day. 3) Bills game!!!!.game food during the whole game..wings, dips, beef on weck sliders, and the pièce de ré·sis·tance..... @Cripple Creek smoked beef ribs! 4) Head back down to DC..and take the youngins out for some Thanksgiving fun..all the while hearing my MIL going nuts that I knowingly am taking my underage kids to bars with their fakes..oh the horror!
