Yeah, Dallas is 6-5 and beat one team that has more than 4 wins.

Talk about beating up on bad teams, oh wait they have 2 less wins and 2 more losses than the Bills so maybe they are incapable of beating up on bad teams like the Bills are. IMO Dallas isn't as good as Buffalo and I've never thought Garrett was a good coach!

Big game for both teams.

Lamar will have a bad game eventually. All QBs do. Why not in Buffalo?

A meteor will eventually hit earth and destroy life as we know it.   Why not in Buffalo...

He is definitely better than I expected, but he is not a VERY good QB.. he is a run first throw second QB.  It will be very interesting how well they do once the NFL figures them out which they will. This style will fool a HC once but if he has the right personnel it won’t fool him a second time.

what do you mean figure him out? They have good RBs...he runs a great RPO and throws a nice ball. I must be missing something...

He is a quarterback...did you watch last night....he's also a very good one

Come playoffs, when he has to face tough defensive gameplans, I predict he will struggle. How many Super Bowls have these run-first quarterbacks won? New England played like garbage against them and they were still in the game well into the 2nd half. New England at home in January will curb stomp them.

they have excellent RB,, and RPO will only work so long before teams just decide take the QB every time..

he throws a nice ball? We must be watching a different QB, he is sort of accurate but zero zip on the ball and thanks to Harbaugh design almost every pass is to a WIDE OPEN receiver.  Jackson forced to throw the Ravens will lose against a good team.  He averages less than 250 yards a game..  I also notice when the other team scores 21 or more points they are 1-2 with the one win being in Pitt after Pitt missed 2 FG.

I stand by my assessment force him to throw to win and they will usually fail.

I'm very nervous about the Ravens. They look like the best team in football and are blowing out everyone they play.

The Cowboys game is setting up as a must win game. Need to get that 9th win on the books before the Ravens game.

I like our defensive scheme against anybody. But theyll drop 24 on us minimum. We will need to control the ball and convert our 3rds. Keep em off the field. Beat em up a bit.

Bend but don't break. Let's keep them under 20.

It will be interesting to see how the 49ers D handles the Ravens.

I'm afraid the Ravens are going to torch us. Still going to watch but I am absolutely chalking it up as a loss.

If we shock them and win it, I'll do something insane. Like, run down my street flailing my genitals at my neighbors.

The team that forces him to be a quarterback will beat them.

He looked every bit the part last night and you see what happened.

Great post.

Baltimore is running an offensive scheme that perfectly matches the talents of its players.  That's not the same as being a gimmick offense.

Lamar Jackson isn't picking teams apart with his arm.  But his running ability is possibly the best the NFL has ever seen for a QB, and teams are forced to stack the box to focus on stopping it.  When he does throw, he's certainly good enough to take advantage of the weak coverage in the secondary.

I'm sure that eventually, defensive coordinators will figure out how to slow-down/contain what they are doing.  (Will they do it before the Ravens win the Super Bowl, I don't know...)  Once defenses adjust, it will be on the Ravens players and coaches to formulate a counter-punch.  Look no further than the team they played last night.  The Rams were the Greatest Show on Turf 2.0 until running into Bill Belichick in the Super Bowl.  Suddenly Jared Goff looks below average, and Sean McVay doesn't look like such a genius.

So yeah.  Long-term, I can understand why people would be skeptical about Jackson and the Ravens.  But don't forget that he's developing just like our young QB, and he could still get better as a passer as time goes along.  And if they can get 2 more months out of this scheme, they just may be hoisting the Lombardi Trophy.

Did you miss the touchdown passes? They were money.

Do what the Chargers did last year.  Put Milano and Edmunds and 5 DBs on the field.  They played7 DBs but Edmunds and  Milano are fast enough to sub in for that.

Last year was a long time ago. You put that many DBs on the field and Ingram will get a buck fifty.

That's why they signed Ingram.
