NFL: tripping penalties from Pats-Cowboys should not have been called

Unfortunately, not many teams are built to overcome this level of game-fixing. The Bills certainly are not. Parity makes it all possible. A close game is one that can be decided with one well-timed call...or non-call.  I apologize, this crap has finally turned me into a hardcore cynic. Oh, and Epstein didn't kill himself.

As long as the NFL is printing money, nothing will change. Big market teams and teams with prominent owners will get every advantage. The Pats being good literally created a new market for the NFL because prior to that most people in the Boston area didn’t even know they had an NFL team or what the NFL was. They thought it was a dish at legal seafoods, Nantucket Fried Lobster or something.

They were horrible calls. That said I am not actually sure Dallas was going to drive down and win anyway. Inside the 20 Garrett would probably have kicked a field goal

You may be right re Dallas putting a drive together.  The Cheaters have been getting phantom calls for years to either sustain drives or kill drives.  It's maddening.

there was a chance though and that chance was stripped by two bad calls. calls now that they admitted to screwing up. but don't tell that to those few here that bend over and continue to defend the evil empire at every chance they get. it's discussing

CBS didn't even show replays of buffalo's o-line penalties so i don't really know that they happened tbh.

The refs took the game into their own hands, and decided it - without drama, excitement or suspense.  They just called it right there with 2 minutes to go, instead of letting players play, and decide it on the field.  On a completely phantom call, as the NFL now acknowledges (kinda reminds me of the phantom holding in the SB last year, just when the Rams were starting a real drive).

 

It's truly sickening. These things go the Pats way beyond what the law of averages could possibly allow.

 

I want to know if the hack who made those phantom calls will be fined, suspended or fired...if not, then the league is a joke. It’s called accountability.

Through no fault of their own (aside from committing / not committing the penalty), the New England Patriots are being besmirched in this thread.  The league therefore awards the New England Patriots a compensatory draft pick.

Sorry... my fat fingers meant to give you a beer for this post.... but instead I selected the "meh" smiley.    In no way is your post...meh.   What you said is spot on true and a good part of the reason why life long fans, such as myself, rarely watch nonBills games.   The league and their condoned poor officiating have ruined the game.

Refs do the crap every game I watch for the Pats.

They will call some penalties against the Pats early in the game. Late in the game at crucial times calls go against the Pats opponent. When you look at the penalties at the end of the game it looks even or maybe worse for the Pats. Such B.S.

At what point is there going to be accountability for ***** like this? If a player makes the game altering mistakes week after week they lose their starting position, their job, and their money. When does that happen with refs? It's idiotic.
