Purplebulldog Posted November 25, 2019 Posted November 25, 2019 (edited) RIP Hank Bullough Edited November 25, 2019 by Purplebulldog 1 4 1
freddyjj Posted November 25, 2019 Posted November 25, 2019 Was in over his head as HC of Bills but did a lot for football as a player and coach over 5 decades. RIP Hank! 1
I'm Spartacus Posted November 25, 2019 Posted November 25, 2019 I wonder if Fred Smerlas will attend the funeral? (I know he hated Bullough)
SoCal Deek Posted November 25, 2019 Posted November 25, 2019 Does his passing make him eligible for the NFL Top 100 show?
Chandler#81 Posted November 25, 2019 Posted November 25, 2019 He ranks right up there with Harvey Johnson for most unworthy Head Coach. Even with Kelly, Bruce, Reed, Ritcher, Talley, Ken Jones, Metzalars & Robb Riddick, we were in disarray under his ‘leadership’. Bounce Hank and immediately defeat Division Leader Steelers. But ..um.. Rest In Peace.
st pete gogolak Posted November 25, 2019 Posted November 25, 2019 Didn't he refer to the team's "work ethnic" or am I thinking of someone else? 1

babulator Posted November 25, 2019 Posted November 25, 2019 Bruce Smith was on OBD last (?) week and recalled Hank having a positive impact on him. 1

eball Posted November 25, 2019 Posted November 25, 2019 That malapropism was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the alert that Hank had passed.

Bruce is a gentleman and knows it's much better to speak positively about other people. 1 hour ago, OldTimeAFLGuy said: ...Jesus "81"......in Buffalo Lore, we have SO MANY in the unworthy category......albeit GM's (or those thought to be), HC's, OC's DC's , players and an OCCASIONAL beerman.....the list could rival "War And Peace"..... 1 hour ago, Chandler#81 said: He ranks right up there with Harvey Johnson for most unworthy Head Coach. Lurker Posted November 25, 2019 Posted November 25, 2019 RIP Hank. It's tough to be the next man up (at HC) if you're not capable of doing the job. That was on Ralph and his cluster**** management style in those years more than on Bullough.
RochesterRob Posted November 25, 2019 Posted November 25, 2019 Harvey Johnson did not want the job but took it after Ralph begged him to do so. IIRC Ralph fired him at the end of the stint.

Create hate & discontent in the locker room so the team sucks and refuses to play? It had nothing to do with trading a 1st Round pick AND Greg Bell which brought TThomas & Cornelius Bennett? Shatcanning him for Marv Levy? I’m a Big Picture guy. That’s a narrow window you’re peeping through.

dhg Posted November 25, 2019 Posted November 25, 2019 RIP Hank. One of the worst coaches in a long list of bad Bills coaches. Greggo made Hank look like a Mensa member 1 1

Greggo made Hank look like a Mensa member the horror led to the Kelly Era, mediocrity since Kelly has led to...... for two decades.... hopefully this turns the tanker around
