Wagon Circler Posted November 25, 2019 Posted November 25, 2019 With one more victory, McDerms ties the legendary Dick Jauron for fifth on the Bill's all time wins list. Next up would be Wade Phillips, 5 away. 4 8
Mc1320 Posted November 25, 2019 Posted November 25, 2019 Jauron actually has the 5th most wins all time? - that is pathetic for a franchise that has been around for 60 years. 2 1 1
RochesterRob Posted November 25, 2019 Posted November 25, 2019 Everybody else beat me to it but Phillips' tenure was rather short so there is that. 1

eball Posted November 25, 2019 Posted November 25, 2019 Levy, Saban, Knox have to be the first three, right?

Sundancer Posted November 25, 2019 Posted November 25, 2019 This thread is S A D Hopefully the Pegulas get that changing coaches every 2 years is bad for business.
Best Player Available Posted November 25, 2019 Posted November 25, 2019 So, is it safe too assume D. Jauron will call or text McD with congratulations on surpassing his awesome Bills win total, When the big moment arrives? Kind of like what Sanders did for Gore yesterday.... 1

mykidsdad Posted November 25, 2019 Posted November 25, 2019 I refuse to accept this thread as factual. It hurts too much. 1
Another Fan Posted November 25, 2019 Posted November 25, 2019 He’s probably gonna outlive all the coaches since Levy as well in terms of longevity at the position Hes already passed Marrone & Rex
jwhit34 Posted November 25, 2019 Posted November 25, 2019 (edited) The top 5: Levy 112-70 Saban 68-45-4 Knox 37-36 Phillips 29-19 Jauron 24-33 McDermott 23-20 When you have 18 different coaches in 60 seasons and two guys (Levy, Saban) coached almost 1/3 of the games (299 of 911), then no one is racking up a lot of Ws. The top 4 are the only coaches in Bills history with a winning record. McDermott would be the 5th if he can keep it up. It's also telling the next group after McDermott in career wins are all from the drought years: Gregg Williams 17-31 Chan Gailey 16-32 Saint Doug 15-17 Rex Ryan 15-16 Mike Mularkey 14-18 Harvey Johnson, Jim Ringo and Hank Bullough combined to go 9-60-1. McDermott will be at #3 pretty soon... This is regular season wins only Levy has 11 playoff wins, Saban has 2 and Knox 1. Edited November 25, 2019 by jwhit34 2 1
