Yeah, but he's 42 years old or whatever.

his team is 10-1, it would be 10-1 if he had another 5 TDs mixed in over those 11 games...

NO CRITICISM MEANT.  oops

Just stating what I see.

seeing what, a stat that you have cherry picked and prorated for no reason?

Pats are still the team to beat when it matters, no matter how Brady's TD total fails to impress you

will you include moral victories achieved against the Pats, to detract from their 10-1 record?

was that a moral victory for Dallas yesterday?

Developing into the best QB we have had since Jimbo.

Sort of like McDermott being within spitting distance of 3rd best coach in Bills history.

The QB position has been a 23-year nightmare.

Easy there ...

I was just countering that post about 30 being the norm.

Even the very diminished Peyton Manning won a SB past his expiration date

The enemy of my enemy is my friend was the only reason I was rooting for Dallas yesterday

I just have to question you. I wont cross any lines but it is something I have seen of you and seen often. your defense and admiration is off the charts for that team and I have to wonder how a bills fan and from what I gather, one for a long time, is so defensive of the evil empire and always seems to be propping them up?

I get it, he and belly are the goat, no one will ever achieve such greatness again in the nfl. but, speaking for myself, they are the most hated team aside from the cowgirls and yes, it is because they have owned the bills.

that being said, it's just strange that a claimed bills fan can continue to jump from thread to thread that has any relation to the evil empire and if one was to say anything out of line or not bow down in praise in their glory, there you are.

to each their own I suppose. maybe they're your second favorite nfl team and I may be out of line in questioning what teams you're a fan of?

I honestly don't see why he reacted towards you like that. You were clearly just pointing out that Allen is far superior than Brady. ;)

Through 11 games Allen has 15 passing TDs, to go with 7 rushing TDs.  Not hard to figure out that if he keeps up this pace he'll finish with 32 total TDs.

I believe the franchise record is 34 by Jim Kelly in 1991 (33 passing, 1 rushing).  It is the only time Kelly did it.  The thing is in checking this out it is the only time any Bills QB has been at 30 or over TDs.  Unless I am missing something it hasn't ever happened, before or since.  Even in Ferguson, Bledsoe and I think Fitzy years of 24 or so TD passes (there was a 25 in there, too), I don't believe any of them had 5-6 rushing TDs in a season to get to 30.

I know this is just an individual player stat, and not necessarily a so sexy one as it includes rushing TDs, but still I just really found it kind of interesting.  Even with some hick-ups he should really hit 30.  On the other side of it I don't think it is crazy to think he has chance at possibly tying or even surpassing Kelly, albeit that would be a lot, but hey it would mean nice things for the way these last 5 games play out.  Not bad for a second season.

Go Allen, Go Bills!

The Bills offense is set up to be not in a shoot out.  Hence, scoring a lot of TDs is out of the question. Games like against Miami are a lot more rare for this team.

While we've seen that the indication may be true ....

Who said or can prove the Defense will allow a blowout the way they are playing??

Total yards, Passing Yards, Points per game 3rd in the NFL and 15th against the rush.  That I believe was due to one real crappy games where the opponents racked up 218 yards.

147 isn't horrendous just not great, 129 and 127 not elite either but ... and then 109, 105 and 5 under 85 yards

The ONLY team to score more than 21 points was the Eagles game who had the 218 yards rushing and 153 passing yards.

. Miami was the only team to break 20 points. All others less than 20 and finally NE*** with 4 turnovers only scored 16 points as a team.

I have to internalize a bottle of Josh.  It will be tough, but the Fan is Strong in me.

To think that Kelly never had the raw athleticism that Allen brings to the table, such that Allen even coming close to the pocket production of Kelly plus Allen’s rushing element, wowza he will then take over the franchise record books no doubt!

Allen has a ways to go in developing his passing game, but given his progress this season I am cautiously optimistic.

Kelly won AFC POY that year, ‘91.

All-time fav regular season year--highlighted by the Bills smacking the Steelers in the mouth early on, scoring 50+ points where they ran out of plays to run and basically resorted to playground ball to an always wide-open Don Beebe...yes indeed, those were the days!

And 30 TD's is really nothing in today's game. Shows how long the Bills have been without a decent QB.

I wouldn't say 30 TDs is nothing in todays game.  Sure, there are some that score 40 or 50 but that's not the norm. 30 is right around average to above average.  Watson had 31 last year.  Aaron Rodgers had 27. For instance.
