rayray808 Posted November 24, 2019 Posted November 24, 2019 WEEK 1: B- WEEK 2: B WEEK 3: C+ WEEK 4: F WEEK 5: B+ WEEK 7: B WEEK 8: D+ WEEK 9: B+ WEEK 10: B- WEEK 11: A WEEK 12: B 15/25 - 185 yards - 2 TD, 1 INT - 56 yards rushing Another week where Josh goes out there and fixes something that was broken. Gotta love that! The long ball TD finally arrives, and it was a beauty. The great: 69 yard, and 87 yard scoring drives. Sure it lead to FGʻs and we would love to see TDʻs however against a good defense like Denver, those long drives are exactly what is needed to wear down a team like that and most importantly allow our defense time to make adjustments and dominate games. Josh was poised, confident and in command. As the game went on, the big plays opened up and Josh capitalized with his legs, and his arm (Cole Beasley big play, John Brown TD). The good: The John Brown deep ball. FINALLY. It does exist! Getting that on tape before Dallas was huge as now it shifts the game plan a bit for them defensively. I was happy for them as a duo also, as they have been practicing getting the timing and rhythm down. The key to remember is that our offensive is completely brand new, so taking time to gel was a given. The bad: Falling in love with the hard count. It seemed to confuse our guys more than it did them. In summary: Another week where Josh Allen improves and works on the holes in his game. Denver is a LEGIT defense, and our QB did what needed to be done to get us the win. Throw out the Broncos record. This was by far one of the toughest tests Josh has had to face in his sophomore year. Ladies and gentlemen, we might have our QB of the future. GO BILLS! 7 2
hemma Posted November 24, 2019 Posted November 24, 2019 I'd like to think our own team would know the snapcount. At any rate, going no huddle + Daboll in the box seems to be the way to go. B+ 5
CSBill Posted November 24, 2019 Posted November 24, 2019 I would say an A-, 60%, but a couple of good throw away's rather than forcing something. 3
BillsFanSD Posted November 24, 2019 Posted November 24, 2019 Definitely one of his better performances, and back-to-back very strong games. Let's keep it going, because we're going to need Josh to make plays the rest of the way.
78thealltimegreat Posted November 24, 2019 Posted November 24, 2019 B? That touch throw over one of the best CBs in the league to Brown for a TD merited an easy A alone...terrible evaluation 5
Warcodered Posted November 24, 2019 Posted November 24, 2019 I'd say probably a B+ to A- not sure the hardcount penalties are really his fault and his worst play was that freak throw that was intercepted besides that he was on point the entire game. 6 1
GunnerBill Posted November 24, 2019 Posted November 24, 2019 I think B+. Bad INT but one of those plays that just happens sometimes. Not the sort of play anyone should have any long term concerns over. I thought other than that he managed the game well and made a couple of really nice throws. 6 2
LSHMEAB Posted November 24, 2019 Posted November 24, 2019 Didn't let the pick(which was awful) affect him going forward. Solid performance. B.
GG Posted November 24, 2019 Posted November 24, 2019 Looked like the INT sailed on him. Otherwise, at least B+ for today's outing.
HappyDays Posted November 24, 2019 Posted November 24, 2019 Great game from Josh. Only had 2 bad plays by my count. The throw to Beasley which allowed a bunch of YAC, the TD to Beasley, and the TD to Brown were three of the best throws he's had all year. He had his best run of the year to avoid a 3 and out inside our own 10. He converted numerous 3rd and longs. The Broncos defense is no joke and best of all he has looked good two weeks in a row. 1 3

Spot on! His scrambling to keep drives alive was huge. The throws you mentioned are big time, big boy NFL throws. B+ 3
JDubya76 Posted November 24, 2019 Posted November 24, 2019 A- because of the pick and because he didn’t hit 300 yards, slacker needs to be stronger than the weather. 1
H2o Posted November 24, 2019 Posted November 24, 2019 How dare any of you mention that Josh is getting better as a QB 3
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted November 24, 2019 Posted November 24, 2019 I wouldn't fault him on the hard counts as much as the coaching staff for repeatedly trying it. Would like to hear if the Int was Allens fault or was the mix up with a WR as that was so far away from everyone.
Scott7975 Posted November 24, 2019 Posted November 24, 2019 I give him a B+. Would be an A- if not for the INT. Stats aside, I think Josh had a really good game today against a very tough defense.
VW82 Posted November 24, 2019 Posted November 24, 2019 (edited) B+ He should have been picked for the second time on that throw that went right through the DB's hands and hit his teammate in the back. But it was windy and Josh also made some great throws. He's so effective with Singletary running the read option. He gave us 241 yards in 34 plays and kept the offense moving. We can win playoff games when he plays like this. Edited November 24, 2019 by VW82 2
Foxx Posted November 24, 2019 Posted November 24, 2019 (edited) the kid just possesses a certain amount magic. he is more often than not able to impose his will upon the opponent. all of the great ones have this quality. he is still just a babe in terms of realizing the depths of his potential. good times are on the horizon once again, it might as well be '88 all over again. dakrider Posted November 24, 2019 Posted November 24, 2019 I would say A- due to one really bad pass/int. A couple of huge TD passes and some huge runs. Bills offense got confused on some plays which is not something that should be happening in game 11 but I'm not putting most of that on Josh. There were a couple of passes that could have been better but every QB has that in every game. So one thing is the Bills offense is still going to have to take it up a notch for these final 5 games. They can't expect the defense to continually force the other team to punt all game long. I'm hoping the Bills coaching staff doesn't try to beat the Cowboys and Patriots with the same game plans they used against the Dolphins and Broncos.
