Do NFL fans really watch the CFL?  Serious question; I just can't get into it.

In my experience the overlap is with casual NFL fans. Non-regular CFL viewers used to watch the Grey Cup in big numbers, but it's been going down for years - especially compared to the Super Bowl.

the Alouettes getting snuffed out in the early 80s and then cratering a few years later was the last straw for interest to me

no telling what kind of weather you can have at a Grey Cup on the prairies

and just wait 15 minutes and it will get even worse

For all those dissing the CFL, I hope you're stuck with watching Washington v. Detroit, or Tampa Bay v. Atlanta. Because that's truly a superior product.

I also plan on watching the Grey Cup this Sunday. The game starts at 6pm Eastern Time, so no interference with the bills game, even though that Sunday night game between the packets and 49ers looks like it's going to be a doozy.
