Looks like Broncos CB Chris Harris is a non believer of Josh Allen talent.

If I can give him a little… I don’t want to actually,” Harris curiously said with a grin and chuckle. “I’m going to say all positive about him today.”

An oft-made comparison with Allen is the one made to quarterback Cam Newton. The Panthers quarterback is out this year, but the Broncos beat Newton in the Super Bowl during his MVP season. Harris was part of that team.

But that comparison is rubbish, says Harris. The defensive back admitted he thought Newton was “real” while Allen is not.

“No [he’s not similar to Newton]. (Allen) can run, though,” said Harris. “Other than that, he’s not really like Cam. They might do a quarterback draw-designed run, but Cam was for real.

“(The Panthers) had designed runs like Lamar Jackson for him because he was so elusive with the real run plays that they had for him,” Harris added.

From there, Harris concluded his press conference with one more “I’m going to keep it positive on Josh Allen.”

I guess we will see Sunday is Josh is real or not.

How did that type of trash talk work out for Jalen Ramsey last year?

Allen was 8-19 passing for 160 yards and 75 came on one play.  Not exactly like Allen was carving him up.

but why players say anything before games is beyond me.  What Allen has been really good about is not responding and just playing the game.  We are a better team than Denver so just win as a team.  The worse thing Allen could do is go in full gunslinger mode and try to win the game himself, which might be what Harris is trying to get him to do.

literally no idea who he is nor do I care.

I'm sure we'll see him get smoked by Smoke on a few occasions on Sunday.

RIP Christy Harris .

This is already being discussed in Broncos/bills thread

Who gives a s***? Not everyone takes the time to keep up with a 15 page thread. I like things like this to have their own, otherwise i might have missed it.

Activate Duke and give him a shot to Moss Harris!

I'd design QB a run play to isolate Harris one on one with Josh and tell him to lower the shoulder and steamroll him. I don't care if it doesn't gain yards. It sends the right message and sets the right tempo.

Josh should have a lot of success on the ground. Expect a lot of Man with multiple blitz concepts.

100+yds rushing 2 TDs

The board owner does set policy against duplicate threads, and the mods try to enforce it, so whether or not you like it, I guess we give a *****.

It's a judgement call whether something that's discussed in the main game thread merits its own, and in this case with threads about Roman for HC, Lamar Jackson, Brady's hate for the Cowboys, Gronk, and AB on the first page, I think more Bills-Broncos discussion is all to the good.

I never understood why teams didn’t run at “Primetime” all day long. He admittedly hated tackling. Seemed like a great way to wear him down and shut him up too.

Agreed.

I mean I think it’s stupid but honestly, what does he have to lose? He’s a good player on a crappy team. Probably just wants the season to end.
