Playoff Semifinals...who goes where

Does anyone know how the teams are placed in the semifinals?  On a related wiki page I found, it states that the #1 team has their choice of which semifinal location to go to(which then determines where the other 3 go), but I can't confirm that anywhere else...and we all know how inaccurate wiki pages can be.

 

Any help with this?

The committee makes the call. The #1 seed is “given preference” on where they want to play and sometimes even asked for a preference but ultimately it’s the committee that decides

The Championship is in New Orleans this year.

Peach Bowl

Fiesta Bowl

 

Championship: New Orleans (Superdome)

 

My prediction:

 

Fiesta Bowl:  Ohio st  v Georgia (UGA beats LSU in SEC Championship)

Peach Bowl:  Clemson v LSU

 

Championship  Ohio St v Clemson

 

Edit:  I switched locations of the semis.  The committee wouldnt make OSU play UGA in Atlanta so they would put them in the Fiesta Bowl (Arizona) to avoid the home field advantage for UGA.
